We're very pleased you did this event @VP. Now, we ask you on the campaign trail to talk about treatment, recovery, and prevention as much as you do about trafficking. Stopping the supply is not nearly as effective as stopping the demand.
On Overdose Awareness Day, we remember Tiarra, Jonathan, Alec, and millions of others who lost their life from an overdose.
I am grateful for their parents who, through advocacy born of tragedy, continue to fight the stigma surrounding substance use disorder.
