Sigma Lithium has temporarily paused mining and industrial production while awaiting a ruling by the Federal Court of Appeals.
The Company remains focused on advancing its growth plans and maintains its FY27 guidance of 330,000 tonnes of lithium oxide concentrate, while 240,000-tonne guidance by three months.
During the temporary pause, commercial and recycling operations continue, maintaining the circularity of 100% of dry-stacked tailings through the sale of high-purity lithium fines, generating cash flow and supporting the Company’s ability to self-fund during this period.
Sigma Lithium remains an important economic engine in the Jequitinhonha Valley, supporting 19,000 direct and indirect jobs and approximately 80,000 people across 12 municipalities.
