Update on one of my students injured Saturday night.
Kid was grazed in the head.. left a nice gash. Stiched up.. then handcuffed and carted to Juvi..
he was on house arrest.. school and home only. He took off his ankle monitor to go the the event.. got shot in the head AND violated his house arrest at the same time!

Hear me out..
If you are an American citizen and you leak defense information that could place Americans in harms way.. (I dont know if that is the case in this instance).. then there should be NO statute of limitations.
Putting American citizens at risk should always be actionable, and should require a capital penalty. With the minumum being life in prison.
You are entrusted with all of the knowledge and secrets, if you violate that, then the penalty MUST be extreme.

Former FBI Director James Comey has been charged with two federal counts over the alleged disclosure of national defense information to a reporter in 2016. The criminal information was filed under seal October 5th and unsealed Today by U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden at t one charges unlawful transmission of national defense information under 18 U.S.C. § 793(d) on or about October 5th, 2016. Count two charges conspiracy, alleging Comey, through one or more co-conspirators, directed an unnamed individual, "Individual 1", to disclose national defense information to a reporter for a national news publication.
Comey has moved to dismiss, arguing the 10 year statute of limitations prosecutors say applies covers only indictments, not a criminal information, which was filed exactly 10 years after the alleged disclosure. Prosecutors say the law allows an information to meet the deadline and that his motion is premature. McFadden said he will address the issues “in due course.”

2 of my students were shot. NOT life threatening.
And a 3rd is listed as a possible victim or suspect.
Nobody is talking, so Police still really don't know what happened.. got a lot of people shot.. don't even know for sure if it was only one shooter of more.
And yet again, FAMU tries to do something and the locals ruin it for them. This isn't ANY fault of FAMU..
Pray for the victims, fortunately nobody died.

Good Morning from the Florida panhandle!
Another week begins! too early to already be in the office, but wanted to get an early start. Weather is 100% PERFECTION! Cool, but not cool enough for a jacket, and warm afternoons, that are pleasant, but not hot! Love this time of close out October, and then the spring to the end of the year begins! Off November 11th for Veterans day, then off the week of Thanksgiving.. get into December and then off from December 21st till January 4th! I may not make as much as I did in the private sector, but man the perks can really be nice sometimes! Been a long year, I always look at November and December as a "break".
Wish you all a great day and a productive week! When we start from the most basic premise that nobody owes you anything and nobody is going to give you anything.. that you have to work to earn everything you have.. THEN you can be productive, knowing everything you do is yours, and yours alone.
