A CLOSER LOOK AT THE POLITICAL LANDSCAPE.
My assessment is that President @officialABAT could secure re-election by a margin significantly wider than earlier polls and deep-dive analyses suggest.
Having engaged key stakeholders across the political landscape, I believe the political structures, and strategic calculations warrant a closer look than conventional analysis may currently allow.
Politics is not shaped by television debates and social media conversations alone. Much of the real story lies in stakeholder relationships, grassroots structures, regional dynamics, and the negotiations that take place away from the public eye.
My position remains clear: I expect the eventual margin to exceed what many current projections suggest.
As always, political outcomes depend on how events unfold between now and election day.
Ceteris paribus.

Kaduna Moments: A Personal Visit, A Shared Hope for Nigeria.
Some meetings are more than courtesy visits; they are moments of connection, reflection, and renewed hope.
Today in Kaduna, I had the honour and pleasure of visiting His Excellency, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, CON, former e, a leader I deeply respect and regard as my primus leader in the North-West.
It was a warm and meaningful encounter. Beyond the pleasantries, we engaged in a frank and thoughtful political conversation about Nigeria, the unity of our country, the stability of our nation, and the future of democracy. These are issues close to my heart, and sharing thoughts on them with a leader of his experience made the visit particularly valuable to me.
I left Kaduna with a happy heart, a refreshed perspective, and renewed hope for our country. Sometimes, spending time with people you respect and learning from their experiences reminds you why the journey of leadership and public service is worth pursuing.
My visit was personal, but the conversations went beyond us. They were about Nigeria, our collective future, and the responsibility we all share in building a more united and stable nation.
Thank you, Your Excellency, for the warm reception, the engaging conversation, and the continued inspiration. The journey continues, and hope remains alive.

KWANKWASO AT 70: IT IS TIME TO PLAY POLITICS OF COMMON SENSE.
Dear Senator @KwankwasoRM ,
Happy 70th Birthday to you, a man whose political journey, particularly in Kano, has demonstrated that leadership can make a tangible difference in the lives of ordinary people. Your ur pro-poor policies and your investment in the welfare of the less privileged have earned you a place in the political history of our country. These are not insignificant achievements, and they are precisely why I believe you still have a historic role to play in Nigeria’s future.
At 70, you must rise above the distractions of the moment and begin to think seriously about the bigger picture. Nigeria is approaching another defining political season, and the pendulum of power will inevitably swing again. If the North is to prepare effectively for its next opportunity to lead this country, it must do so through strategic thinking, political maturity and the building of bridges across the country.
Kwankwaso, you are a Northerner who can make a credible case for being trusted with the welfare of the people. Your record in Kano, particularly in education and policies directed at the poor, gives you a foundation upon which to build a much bigger national legacy. But you must not allow present political calculations to diminish that legacy.
My candid advice to you is this: step into the grassroots political shoes of the late President @MBuhari , and recognise the strategic value of supporting President @officialABAT at this moment in our national journey.
Buhari understood the political weight of the ordinary Nigerian, particularly the people of the North. His connection with the grassroots was a formidable political asset. You have your own record, your own constituency and your own strengths. The question is whether you will deploy those assets to build a sustainable national political future or expend them on an alliance that may not serve your long-term interests.
And this brings me to your present political association with Peter Obi. With all due respect to him, I believe you bring considerably more political experience, deeper executive credentials and a more extensive record of practical governance to the table. Why, then, should a man of your political stature hitch his future to a political arrangement in which his own experience and accomplishments risk being overshadowed? You should be setting the direction, not surrendering your political judgment to another man’s ambition.
Supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu does not require you to abandon your convictions or surrender your independence. It requires you to recognise the national interest, appreciate the importance of political stability and position yourself to contribute meaningfully to the next phase of Nigeria’s development. There is room for political competition, but there is also a time when wisdom demands cooperation.
At 70, your concern should be the people you have served, the people you still hope to serve and the political foundations you will leave for the next generation. The North needs leaders who can think beyond immediate grievances, build national alliances and prepare for the future without sacrificing the interests of their people today.
Kwankwaso, Kwankwaso! Leader sir, Egbon, it is time to reconsider the road you are travelling. Do not let the politics of the moment rob you of the opportunity to play a far greater role in the Nigeria that is emerging.
It is time to play politics of common sense.
Happy 70th Birthday Sir, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. May wisdom guide your next steps, may your experience serve the nation, and may your remaining years in public life bring greater progress to Kano, the North and Nigeria as a whole.

AJANKORO DUGBE DUGBE FASORANTI HAS TRANSFORMED INTO THE AFTERLIFE!
What a patriot! What a life of sacrifice, conviction and service to our nation, and to the Yoruba nation in particular.
Oh, Olódùmarè, Ọlọ́run Ọba Ọ̀run, please receive Baba Reuben Fasoranti into Your him mercy and let him find a place among the revered ancestors whose lives were devoted to the service of their people.
Oh, Jeremiah Obafemi Oyeniyi Awolowo, Leader Supremos, welcome him with praises! Baba Reuben did not let the Yoruba race down when it mattered most. At a time when others appeared willing to relegate the great questions of restructuring, true federalism and the building of a better, more sustainable Nigeria to the background, Baba Fasoranti stood firm. He held on to his convictions until the very end.
Agbe, bá wa gbé Baba déle! Alùkò, bá wa jẹ́ kí Baba kó ire l’ọ̀nà!
We shall not merely mourn you; we shall celebrate your life, honour your sacrifices and keep your lessons close to our hearts. Your passing must not become another occasion for empty tributes that fade with time. It must be a call to reflection, renewal and purposeful action.
The Yoruba nation must reorganise, rebuild its intellectual and political strength, and produce the next generation of leaders who will place the growth, security, dignity and prosperity of our people at the centre of their mission. We must not allow the ideals for which you stood to die with you.
Baba, as you make your transition, we place one final plea upon your shoulders: take our prayers to Olódùmarè. Ask Him to bless the Yoruba people, strengthen our unity, restore our sense of collective purpose and guide us towards a future worthy of our history.
This is a profoundly sombre and reflective moment. With the departure of Baba Reuben Fasoranti, we feel that another great chapter in the history of our people is closing. Perhaps some of the last towering figures of that generation of principled leadership are now answering the call of eternity. Their passing leaves us with a solemn responsibility: to preserve their ideals and find the courage to carry them forward.
One hundred years! A long, remarkable and resourceful life, lived in service to our people and anchored in conviction.
Thank you, Baba Reuben Fasoranti, for standing firm. Thank you for your sacrifices. Thank you for reminding us that leadership is not merely about occupying positions, but about defending principles, preserving the dignity of a people and refusing to surrender what matters.
Take your deserved place among the stars, Baba.
May Olódùmarè grant you eternal rest, and may the Yoruba nation be worthy of the legacy you have left behind.

MY SCAR FROM MKO ABIOLA, MY SACRIFICE FOR DEMOCRACY, AND MY UNWAVERING PAN-NIGERIAN CONVICTION.
The scar in my heart from the loss of Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola has not fully healed. His death and the circumstances surrounding the struggle for the actualisation of t an indelible mark on my life. I have therefore neither anything to prove about my sacrifices for Nigeria nor any reason to pretend that I do not understand the cost of the democratic journey we have travelled.
I will neither make light of MKO Abiola’s grave sacrifice nor allow anyone to distort my words or misrepresent my intentions.
Let me restate what I said. None of the contestants, particularly those threatening to release unverified election results in circumstances that could plunge the country into chaos, should be encouraged to take any action that could bring them into conflict with the law or endanger our national stability.
I invoked the events of 1992 to illustrate how political situations can spiral out of control when caution, restraint and respect for the law are abandoned. Students of history understand the point I was making. I stand by that argument. My intervention was a warning about consequences, not an invitation to recklessness, and I will not permit reactionary forces to turn my counsel into something it was never intended to be.
There is an ancient Yoruba saying that captures this sentiment:
“Tí mo bá gbà ẹ ní àmọ̀ràn mi, kò fẹ́ kó gbọ́; nítorí tí kò bá gbọ́, báwo ni màá ṣe jẹ́ ìfààrà rẹ̀, tí wá fi gbà mí ní ọlọ́gbọ́n?”
Loosely interpreted, it means: Sometimes, when I give you advice, you refuse to listen. But when the consequences arrive, you will remember that I warned you, and that will be the proof of my wisdom.
My duty is to offer counsel in the interest of our country. Whether people choose to heed it is another matter.
I must also state, unequivocally, that I am a Pan-Nigerian through and through. I have no interest in promoting the idea that one ethnic group is superior to another. My commitment is to Nigeria and to the collective dignity, security and prosperity of all Nigerians.
Those who describe themselves as Yoruba activists should take particular note. My words and actions must be understood within the framework of my commitment to the Nigerian nation. I will not subordinate that commitment to ethnic sentiment, sectional advantage or the politics of exclusion.
To Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, Omo Aja Dudu Ile Ido, tí kò gbọ́dọ̀ buni jẹ́ . A son whose memory remains inseparable from our democratic struggle.
Orun ire o!
May your supreme sacrifice continue to guide Nigeria towards a more stable, just and enduring democracy. May the promise for which you paid such a terrible price never be betrayed.
I have long expressed the view that Nigeria should manage political power through a pendulum arrangement between the Northern and Southern parts of the country. In my considered opinion, a predictable and mutually respected understanding of power rotation offers a framework for reducing suspicion, strengthening national cohesion and sustaining our democratic journey. It is a position I hold in the interest of a country that must learn to manage its diversity with maturity.
One day, God willing, I will speak more fully about my own contributions to the struggle for democracy. I will explain how the critical events surrounding MKO Abiola shaped my thinking and redirected my political journey, setting in motion a chain of events whose consequences have continued to unfold.
I must also acknowledge Dele Momodu. May God spare his life. He played a key and pivotal role in that chapter of our history, and his contribution deserves to be remembered.

Finally, let nobody mistake my restraint for ignorance of history or my commitment to national unity for an absence of personal conviction. Those who have benefited most from the sacrifices and political consequences of MKO Abiola’s death cannot simply dismiss my experience or tell me what I know to be false about the journey we have travelled.
My commitment is to Nigeria. My loyalty is to the democratic ideal. My respect for MKO Abiola’s sacrifice is enduring. And my conviction that Nigeria must survive, mature and prosper remains unshaken.

Listening to it myself, all I can say is, may the Nigeria we all dream of finally emerge.
Straight from my heart, without a script. Just me, my love for my country, and the deep hope that one day, we will see the Nigeria we have always prayed for.
Oh Lord, You know my heart. e Nigeria and how deeply I care about her people. You know the hopes I carry, the prayers I whisper, and the longing within me to see this land become a place where every Nigerian can live with dignity, peace, hope and a sense of belonging.
Father, please do not let my love for this country be in vain. Bless me, guide me, strengthen me, and grant me the grace to witness the Nigeria I have always dreamed of. Surround me with people who share this love and give us the courage to keep believing, even when the journey becomes difficult.
Lord, remember every Nigerian who still believes in this land, every heart that aches for a better country, and every soul that continues to pray and work for a brighter future. Please reward our faith, preserve our hope, and let our efforts bear fruit.
Dear God, I want to see a Nigeria that makes my heart rejoice. Please let me live to witness that day. Let me be part of the story of her healing, her rising, and her greatness.
I have loved Nigeria, and I will continue to pray for Nigeria and all Nigerians.
May Your mercy speak for us, may Your grace lead us, and may the Nigeria we carry in our hearts become the Nigeria we see with our eyes.
Amen.

IGBO KWENU!!!
DON’T LET POLITICAL PROPAGANDA OVERRIDE THE FACTS!
Our people must refuse to be taken for granted. Nigeria’s development cannot be judged by opposition rhetoric, social media noise, or political grandstanding. It must be judged by verifiable projects, funds ed, and the real impact on our communities.
Under President @officialABAT administration, federal infrastructure initiatives targeting the South-East deserve serious scrutiny, factual assessment, and honest recognition where progress is established. Equally, every unfulfilled promise must be pursued until results are delivered.
OUR MESSAGE IS CLEAR: WE WILL NOT TRADE FACTS FOR PROPAGANDA, NOR ACCOUNTABILITY FOR POLITICAL LOYALTY!
To those who criticise the administration, bring evidence. To those who defend it, show the projects. To government officials, publish the figures, disclose the timelines, and demonstrate measurable results. Nobody should be above scrutiny, and no genuine achievement should be buried beneath partisan politics.
The South-East must not remain on the sidelines of national development. Our people deserve infrastructure that works, roads that connect markets, investments that create jobs, and policies that expand economic opportunity.
Politics must deliver value. Representation must produce results. Public office must translate into public benefit.
OUR CALL TO ACTION: Let us scrutinise the records, challenge misinformation with evidence, demand the completion of outstanding projects, and insist that every public commitment is matched by measurable delivery. Let us judge leadership by facts, not noise and by results, not rhetoric.
IGBO KWENU!!!
ASIWAJU IS A GOAL!
LET THE FACTS SPEAK.
LET THE PROJECTS DELIVER.
LET ACCOUNTABILITY PREVAIL.
LET THE SOUTH-EAST CLAIM ITS PLACE IN NIGERIA’S PROGRESS!
Nigeria First. Results Matter. Accountability Is Non-Negotiable.
