We owe a profound debt of gratitude to our veterans
for their duty, their resilience, and their loyalty to their mates.
Today, and every day, we remember them. Lest we forget. 🇦🇺

Breaking: The Albanese Government has unveiled its Christmas cost-of-living package.
Australians households will each receive a turkey.Treasury assures us it's in excellent condition, and Treasury couldn't afford anything more substantial, as its generosity is required elsewhere.

They gave up the futures they deserved so that our generations might have one.
They never got to grow old. They never got to watch their children grow up, hold their grandchildren, or experience the lives we’ve lived.
They never got to enjoy so many of the ordinary, and so very beautiful things, that we barely give a second thought these days.
The simple privilege of growing old and building a family in a country you love.
These are the joys they were denied, all so that we could live with freedom and prosperity.
When we say that they gave their lives, we must remember what that really means.
They gave everything they were, everything they loved, and everything they might one day have become.
They gave us the chance to live the lives they never could.
The very least we can do is make those lives worthy of their sacrifice.

As always, it is purportedly Sun Tzu who first schooled civilisation on the distinction, and occasional incongruence, between strategic objectives and tactical deployment.
Fabius Maximus is also revered for his prescience, but modern military science expands this plane to the y – there are battles, there is the war (the military conflict), and ultimately – there is hegemony.
Control.
And that is why, at this moment, we sit at one of the most exciting and indeed opportune moments in Australian political history.
It warrants James Ashby hitting his speed dial and getting on the phone to either Brian Loughnane or Peta Credlin – either would do.
It involves James offering an olive branch, which requires Brian and Peta to make that initial sacrifice – to cede the occasional battle, in the interests of grand strategy.
So, you can better understand the dynamic, I ask you this:
- If you are a One Nation supporter, do you believe the LNP would be more effective with ON as the formal opposition, or with the ALP in this role?
- Similarly, in the unlikely event that ON can wrest power, would it be more effective with providing the initial oversight?
- How do you think Peta and Brian feel? Do you think they fancy their chances against the ALP, or with ON?
Sadly, Peta is no Sun Tzu.
Far from it.
She was an advisor to Tony Abbott, who had his backside handed to him in short time by a treasonous Malcolm Turnbull, aided by some shockingly ill-conceived ideas and actions.
She’s been of little help righting either the Federal or State LNP since.
ALP strategists are simply much better (I’m looking at you Bruce).
They work the board until it’s time to surrender their pieces, take a hiatus, and return to the plunder.
So here is a scenario.
Of the 88 seats in Victoria’s lower house, let us assume we see an LNP majority (all polls point to this outcome).
But the pivotal question is ‘how is the rest of the board carved up?’. To which only two questions matter:
1. Does the LNP secure a majority and
2. Who wins the second highest number of seats
If I were Brian or Peta, I would be wanting One Nation in Opposition.
They (B&P) both have a solid history of failing to secure the reign once in power, and they’ll be no better this time around.
Let’s examine the arguments for wanting a One Nation opposition, by asking some questions:
1. Which party will best support radical public service cuts?
2. Which party will best guarantee supply?
3. Which party will either facilitate or possibly refine the legislative agenda?
4. Which party will likely oppose based on performance rather than pure petty politicking?
5. Which party will work to mitigate risks associated with unionised industrial action which seeks to undermine democratic intent?
At this juncture, my question for Peta and Brian is - simply - are you doing this for Victorians?
Of for yourselves?
Or will this just be craven uniparty business as usual?
I am confident in saying that there’d almost be complete consensus here - The LNP would be a substantially more effective government with One Nation in opposition.
Similarly, One Nation would be a significantly better government with the LNP holding them to genuine account, rather than ALP stonewalling.
In short, One Nation wants to win, and should want LNP in Opposition.
The LNP wants to win, but if it consigns One Nation to third, it may win a series of battles, and it may even win the war – but there is no hegemony to be had.
It will be four years of tumult – with orchestrated union protestation, street protests, shutdowns, demands, and never-ending criticism of ‘absolutely whatever’.
When not in opposition, you have less oxygen for this activity.
Ultimately, this is up to voters.
Ideally, undecided Victorians should realise the supreme benefit in having an unprecedented 1-2 combo of LNP and One Nation.
I know many people whose primary concern is ‘not ALP’, as opposed to ‘which right wing party’. I am not one of them, but this is a potent sentiment.
But if may be worth James and Brian having that chat, to ask themselves:
“What could day 1 look like?”
For mine, I will say this much.
If the LNP steer ahead arrogantly, unrelenting – then at the first sign of having screwed the pooch, I will be all over them like a rash.
Channel the dirt through ALP networks. Bring the LNP (back…again) to its knees.
And in doing so?
Absolutely obliterate any chance of their winning NSW, of Federal elections.
Likely putting David Crisafulli, an eminently satisfactory Premier – needlessly in the cross hairs.
It’s over to you Brian.
Your members won’t accept failure from you at this juncture, so yours could be a vanishingly short tenure if you muck this up.
Show yourself to be the grand strategist.
Take James' call and figure out a seat allocation strategy.
As Abbott and Costello (no relation!) said “I don’t give a flying fork who's on second! ALP on third!”

One Nation leader Pauline Hanson is under fire after her former national campaign director Sean Black, a convicted rapist she sacked in April, was secretly recorded claiming Gina Rinehart is pulling the strings.
Black alleged a “conga line of people” connected to Rinehart moving top adviser James Ashby is using One Nation to enrich himself, and that he himself was still secretly working for them even after being dumped.
Hanson’s response in Swan Hill was blunt:
“I’m furious about it. It’s absolute garbage.” She said she’s sick of disgruntled people she sacked for work ethic or other reasons, and equally furious at the media digging up dirt files, even going back to her first husband from over 50 years ago.
“The people are over it. They’re not interested, they just want sheer honesty, be truthful with us.”
She’s not wrong.
And it’s shame that the same level of media scrutiny isn’t applied to our shambolic PM, Anthony Albanese, who appears to get a free pass from the media after his $68m “journalist fund”
Australians are done with smear campaigns from sacked staffers and media hit jobs directly targeting Hanson.
But the same cannot be said for Anthony Albanese.
While families cop another rate rise, Albo is swanning around the Caribbean on green warrior billionaire Twiggy Forrest’s vessel, the Fortescue Green Pioneer, with King Charles, launching climate deals.
What discussions and promises were made aboard that yacht?
More of Twiggy’s money flowing into Labor’s pockets in exchange for continued billions in taxpayer subsidies for green hydrogen projects that keep failing?
One Nation is being attacked over alleged influence Hanson has flatly denied.
Labor’s PM is literally living it up on the mega yacht of the billionaire pushing the green agenda while taxpayers foot the bill at home.
The hypocrisy is staggering.

Anthony Albanese’s claims that he is “pedophile proofing” daycares is pure theatre.
This is the same government that is spending $10 million of your money on a “pedophile wellness” website.
The contradiction is staggering.
Education Minister Jason Clare is out there talking ild abuse cases in childcare, boasting that 93% of centres now meet quality standards (up from 88%), banning personal phones, and dangling $11.5 million in CCTV grants for not for profits.
Federal police say cameras help. Clare wants 100%.
Sounds tough and reasonable, until you remember this same government quietly launched the Stop It Now Australia website in April with nearly $10 million in taxpayer funding.
This site tells people with sexual fantasies about children not to “beat yourself up.”
It says ending those fantasies “may not feel realistic.”
It pushes “compassion and self acceptance.”
One module compared trying to change attraction to children with gay conversion therapy.
Critics have called it depraved normalisation. Attorney General Michelle Rowland’s department has defended it as prevention.
Content has been quietly adjusted since the outrage, but the funding and the approach remain.
Same government in the same week they’re accepting just one of 23 recommendations from a landmark Senate child safety inquiry, a response advocates called a “slap in the face.”
You cannot claim you’re pedophile proofing daycares with CCTV and phone bans while simultaneously funding a site that coaches would be offenders on managing their attraction to kids.
One is deterrence. The other looks a lot like accommodation.
Parents are not stupid. More than a million Australian families rely on childcare. They want actual protection, not PR and self help modules for predators.
This is the Albanese government in a nutshell, performative toughness in front of the cameras, soft on the actual problem behind them.

The Left are full of bile, venom and spite - even against someone like a nurse who dedicates their life to helping others.
They are morally bankrupt.
They are morally bankrupt.
Dreadful to see another attack on a war memorial, this time in Cleveland Qld. One name commemorated is nurse Cynthia Thiedeke who died from illness on overseas duty, Colombo, 27 Sept 1942, WWII. Soldiers sent her parents letters telling them how kind and outstanding her care was.

What that means is .. the Rat Union Government will continue to sell off OUR ASSETS, chipping away until we are paying rent to foreign governments. To sell off our Defence Assets is beyond comprehension..This is absolutely the WORST Australian government ever. @AlboMP must go.

🚨 Rennick is Australia First and Israel is bad. Right?
Yet he supports Muslim candidates who hate Australia, cry “Islamophobia,” and promise to destroy the nation for a multicultural dystopia.
Bassima Hawli was the Australian Citizens Party’s 2025 federal candidate - the same borated with for years and shares vision and goals with, by their own words. Only three months ago they negotiated a merger that collapsed over financial documents, not ideology.
Listen to her: is she Australia First too?
Is she the kind of woman you want in Parliament?
It appears Rennick thinks so.

I was willing to work with @AlboMP to help take down NDIS providers committing fraud. All he did was ignore us and act like we didn’t exist. That tells me he doesn’t give a crap about the Australian public.
You want our taxes? Start showing some respect for the people paying them.
While you collect taxpayer funded salaries, ordinary Australians are out here exposing fraud. You’re paid to serve us. Do your bloody jobs.
