Cardinals’ Legend💪🏻…
As we celebrate the life of Bob Gibson today, we can't forget this amazing quote from Dusty Baker when he asked Hank Aaron about Gibby.
“(Hank Aaron told me) ‘Don’t dig in against Bob Gibson, he’ll knock you down. He’d knock down his own grandmother if she dared to challenge , don’t smile at him, don’t talk to him. He doesn’t like it. If you happen to hit a home run, don’t run too slow, don’t run too fast. If you happen to want to celebrate, get in the tunnel first. And if he hits you, don’t charge the mound, because he’s a Gold Glove boxer.’ I’m like, ‘Damn, what about my 17-game hitting streak?’ That was the night it ended.” — Dusty Baker

Freedom Isn’t Free🇺🇸🫡
Todd Beamer was the passenger on United Airlines Flight 93 who rallied fellow passengers to fight back against the 9/11 hijackers with the phrase "Let's roll" and stopped it from reaching Washington, DC.
This is his daughter, Morgan, who was born 4 months after his death and soccer at his alma mater, Wheaton College.
Imagine how proud he would be. 🇺🇸 #neverforget

Made a lot of big plays for us on the Diamond as a 4-year starter in CF, helping lead us to 2 District Championships, including a 28-4 record in 2023! Always knew he would excel on the Gridiron in college. Keep holding that Edge Jayden💪🏻!!

Memorial Day...honoring those that made the ultimate sacrifice🫡. On 31 Dec 1943, 8 of ‘Speedball’s’ 10-man crew did just that for you and me…Jones, Dearborn, Van Dyke, Brennan, Palvic, Bekken, Morey, and Bittner. The 2 survivors...Bronako and Vaughn.

No surprise…in some cases, the cream rises to the top very quickly. Simply picking-up where he left off last May, and continuing to do what he did for Faith Baseball the past 3 seasons. Special talent, elite competitor, and A+ young man💪🏻.
2025 Faith grad Ryan Romolo got his first start (and Win) of his collegiate career today for Harding University...6 IP/4 H/2 R/3 Ks/1 BB. Behind Romolo's outstanding debut, the Bisons defeated Ft Hays State, 8-6, at the Henderson State Invitational Tournament. @GoFaithLions
