A very nasty element in our society has revealed itself over the last few years and it has been enabled and emboldened by Reform and Restore.
I am thrilled to see Reform regularly pushed back into third place.
As I’ve been saying, the trend is very clear now.

James Blunt looks quite emotional explaining that the insults and snide remarks from Weller, Gallagher and Alburn got to him.☹️

The guy that came to his aid is a surprise even though I think we all knew he was a decent fella. 👏

If you watch Jenrick’s race you can see that he is struggling to such an extent that he is now developing a nervous twitch.
‘Is calling Kemi Badenoch a “Nigerian scammer” racist, yes or no?’
‘…I’m not on your show to talk about what a journalist has tweeted.’

Reform's Robert Jenrick refuses to engage with @lewis_goodall's question about Raheem Kassam's comments on the Tory leader.

To be less trusted on the economy than Zac Polanski, is not a good sign for Mr Farage.
🚨Latest Opinium @ObserverUK poll🚨

Andy Burnham is most trusted on economic and financial matters while Nigel Farage and Zack Polanski are least trusted.

A week out from the budget, over a third are unsure if they trust Chancellor John Healey (37%).

Adulthood is largely a matter of marrying the woman of your dreams then spending the rest of your life looking for gumshields.

On a blowy late October morning like this one in 2008, in a Dublin bookshop I met a girl with electric blue eyes who made me buy her two breakfasts.

In seven years later, at Holles Street I met our daughter Carlotta.

Go to bookshops. Talk to strangers. Embrace blowy days in autumn.

Happy anniversary, my love.

As someone whose life and body have been transformed by cancer, I am delighted that @andyburnham went on Gogglebox to raise money to help fight cancer.
'Is that a really good use of his time?'
'Raising money for a cancer charity?'

The Green Party's @floschechter brands Andy Burnham going on Gogglebox as 'ridiculous'.

Earlier today I posted a pic of a packet of burgers I got.
I didn't realise people get so triggered by food.
I've been told what I should do, what I shouldn't do. What I should buy and what I shouldn't buy.
People have rude to me.
Fucking weird, the lot of you! 🤣🤣

You meet people like this all the time in politics. Products of their echo chambers, sneering at anyone who doesn’t share their po-faced, joyless view of the world. The PM went on a show that many people love, it was fun and it raised money for a cancer charity. Good for him.

Burnham bringing significant attention to Stand Up To Cancer, a charity that has helped raise $825 million globally for cancer charities, while highlighting the plight of literally millions of families forced to live through this, by spending a few hours where he lives with a camera crew.

And all the disingenuous grifters and haters out there can come up with is:

“Why is he on TV instead of solving all the UK’s problems?”

The problems he inherited.

Apparently, raising awareness for cancer charities for a couple of hours is only acceptable if you can simultaneously fix the economy, the NHS, housing, crime and every other problem in Britain.

Those few hours probably helped raise millions.

The manufactured outrage is pathetic. x.com/algorecrave/st…

Those who go through hell and turn their experience into helping others are the best of us. Having lost a family member to suicide and now spending their lives working so others don’t face the same is admirable.
The Prime Minister presented a special recognition award at the Pride of Britain Awards to honour the founders of Andy’s Man Club, Elaine and Luke.

In 2016, Andy Roberts, Elaine’s son and Luke’s brother-in-law, tragically took his own life at just 23 years old. The pair went on ub, a male suicide prevention charity that has grown from a single group in Halifax to more than 360 groups nationwide.

Through its mission to break the stigma around men’s mental health, Andy’s Man Club has saved thousands of lives and inspired men to speak up when they need help 🤝

Somebody on my Facebook (somebody I taught years ago, now in her 30s) just told me she can remember me getting married. She was in Year11 and remembers noting that I was no longer a ‘Miss’ anymore 🤣

@BBCPolitics @BBCBreakfast This is for cancer. What ever I think about Labour or Andy Burnham, I think it’s excellent that we have a prime minister willing to use his time to support important charitable causes. This should have cross-party support

🚨 NEW: Andy Burnham criticises Angela Rayner for including a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc in her survival kit

“I’m not sure that’s the top of the list… You need to have a clear head in a challenging situation. Some tins of food, bottled water. People are allowed a glass or two”
