I’ve shared before that this subject is personal to me. So many people carry things we know nothing about, and sometimes the person who seems time than they let on.
One thing I practice when I get in my head is Metta, or loving kindness meditation. It’s a practice of offering kindness and goodwill toward yourself and others.
This book is a guided Buddhist meditation on loving kindness, and I wanted to share it alongside a reminder to give yourself some of the compassion you give everyone else. You deserve patience, support, and kindness too.
Keep checking on your people after September ends. Make room for honest answers when you ask how they’re doing. And if you’re struggling, please tell someone you trust. You don’t have to wait until things get worse to ask for help.🌸
