There’s a man in Genesis who never died. And the Bible gives him one sentence.

Genesis 5 is the chapter most people skip. A list of names. Ages. Sons and daughters. And over and over, like a funeral bell, the same three words:

“...and he died.”

Adam lived 930 years, and he . Enosh, and he died. Eight times the bell rings.

And then, in the middle of the list, it doesn’t:

“Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.” - Genesis 5:24

No death. No burial. No explanation. He was just... gone.

The book of Hebrews confirms what it means: “By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him” (Hebrews 11:5).

One man in the whole ancient world skipped the grave. Only one other in all of Scripture shares that: Elijah, carried up in the whirlwind.

So what was so special about Enoch?

The Bible tells us exactly one thing about his life. Twice. He walked with God.

That’s it. No miracles. No kingdom. No great battles. Just a walk.

And the details are surprising.

It started late. Verse 22 says Enoch walked with God after he became the father of Methuselah, when he was 65. Something changed when that child was born. Whatever his life was before, it turned there.

It was ordinary. He walked with God for 300 years, and the same verse says he “had other sons and daughters.” Enoch wasn’t a hermit on a mountain. He was a father. He raised kids, worked, ate, slept. He walked with God in the middle of an ordinary, busy, family life.

It was constant. The Hebrew verb is a special form, hithallek, meaning to walk about, to go to and fro, a continuous, ongoing walk. It’s the same form used in Genesis 3:8 of God Himself walking in the garden in the cool of the day. Enoch got back what Adam lost: walking with God, side by side.

So what does walking with God actually mean?

It’s not a feeling. It’s not a single dramatic moment. It’s a direction. Every day, going the same way He’s going.

The prophet Amos asks: “Do two walk together, unless they have agreed to meet?” (Amos 3:3). Walking with God means agreement. His way becomes your way. His pace becomes your pace. You stop running ahead and stop dragging behind.

And Hebrews tells us what made it possible: “Before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God. And without faith it is impossible to please him” (Hebrews 11:5–6). Not perfection. Faith. Trusting the One walking beside you.

There’s an old saying about this verse. Enoch and God walked together every day, and they talked, and they walked a little further each time. And one day they walked so far that God said, “Enoch, we’re closer to my house than yours. Why don’t you come home with me?”

That’s the end of every true walk with God.

For Enoch, it came without death. For us, Jesus has gone through death first so that it can never be the end of the road. “I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also” (John 14:3).

He took Enoch.

He will take you too.

Just keep walking.

This passage from Isaiah arrests me in my tracks. The more I sit with it, the more it undoes me.

“Who has believed our message
and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground.

He had no beauty or o him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.

He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.

Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.

Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”

Isaiah 53:1-5 (NIV)

Does this one move you too? Or is there another verse that hits you in a similar way?

Picture this.

You make it to Heaven, and someone comes over to you.

They look you in the eye and say, “I got here because you weren’t afraid to tell me about Jesus.” 🙌

How would that make you feel?

Pretty amazing, I bet, right?

Many of us stay silent about our faith o make things uneasy.

We worry we might say the wrong thing or drive someone away.

But the truth is, God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear.

He gives us power, love, and a clear mind to share what He has done for us.

Jesus didn’t keep the good news to Himself.

He told us to go into the world and tell others about Him.

You don’t need a perfect speech.

Just be willing to open your mouth when the moment is there.

The person sitting next to you at work, the neighbor across the street, the friend who is going through a tough time.

They might be waiting for someone to point them to the hope that only Jesus can give.

You never know who might thank you one day for not staying silent.

So speak up!

Tell them about Jesus.

It could change their eternity.

I’m dedicating this show to @ChrisMurphyCT, @NedLamont all the Connecticut cowards who are hoping we’ll all forget about Ryan O’Shea and move on.

Fuck them. They got him killed. Now they won’t even say his name.

🚨 TRUMP JUST WENT THERE

Trump posted a "Life Before Obama" checklist on Truth Social.

ISIS, Black Lives Matter, Antifa, the Russia Hoax, expensive Obamacare, and TDS all made the list.

The day after Obama got on stage to say he's "tired of being divided," Trump handed him the it. Trump is finishing it.

We live in such a backwards society when the media has more outrage over career criminals like George Floyd being killed than when aspiring police officers in college are killed by an illegal immigrant, who should have NEVER been here in the first place

Every state is a border o the ballot box, remember Ryan. Elections have consequences.

Please pray for Ryan, his friends, family, teammates & fraternity brothers. He should still be here with us 🤍

This fine young man is the relative of a close friend. This sh*t just doesn’t stop.
TRAGIC AND PREVENTABLE DEATH:

Ryan O’Shea, 21, a University of New Haven student and club hockey senior assistant captain, was killed Oct. 16 in a head-on crash on I-91 in North Haven, CT, when a pickup truck traveling the wrong way struck his vehicle.

The driver was Guillermo Carmona-Lopez, a 31-year-old Mexican illegal alien. He should never have been in the United States in the first place, let alone behind the wheel.

In May 2013, Border Patrol arrested Carmona-Lopez after he illegally entered the country. He was issued an expedited removal and removed. He then illegally reentered — a felony — and was arrested again by Border Patrol. He was issued a final order of removal and later reentered at an unknown time and place.

O’Shea was returning to campus after a hockey game. He was studying criminal justice and aspired to join the NYPD. His family joins the many American families who have been left with unimaginable loss.

Loss that was preventable.

This is our why.

Details of Jesus rising from the dead found in 2,000-year-old text dailymail.com/sciencetech/ar… via @DailyMail So awesome. Here we are 2000+ years later, and we're only receiving MORE confirmation that Jesus was who HE claimed to be, and that the biblical description of HIS crucifixion, and Resurrection was as the Apostles claimed.

She campaigned on “no new taxes.” Now the NY Post is reporting she’s open to working with far-left socialist Zohran Mamdani.

THICK AS THIEVES.

Democrats will say anything to get elected, then immediately cave to the radicals who want to tax New This is why people are fleeing the state.

Adam Carolla says it took 10 DAYS before he heard about the concealed carry dad who ran into his daughters’ elementary school and took down the shooter.

He thought about it, and he knows exactly why it didn’t get more airtime.

“IT F*CKS UP EVERY THEME THEY HAVE ABOUT GUN That was the first time I’ve ever seen a picture of this guy [Kaylub Giamanco], heard him talk.”

“He says, ‘I didn’t save enough kids, and I’m sorry to the parents of the kids who I couldn’t save.’ And now he can’t sleep at night because he can still hear the screams of the children begging for their lives.”

This man should be a household name. A national hero.

But as Carolla explains, his story wrecks the picture of gun owners the media wants in your head.

“The theme of the dad who wanted to protect his kids ... and put an end to this school shooter is NOT a theme they like.”

“MSNBC, CNN, LA Times, THEY HATE THIS STORY.”

Daniel Penny, meanwhile?

CAROLLA: “That guy is everywhere because they love the theme of a blonde-haired guy choking out a black guy.”

When a story doesn’t fit the narrative, you never hear about it. When it does, it’s all you hear about.
