Solstice golf. Started at 5:30am. Finished at 9pm. 90 holes in 15.5 hours, and finished with a birdie (with a gallery of the guys in my league watching from the clubhouse.)

Yesterday John and I completed a grueling section of the #BuckeyeTrail, 18 miles on the road from Wellington to Wakeman. (We avoided the craziness in Wellington.)
It was lots of farm country, with a pretty view of the Vermilion River from a foot bridge in Wakeman at the end.

With today's 15.54 mile hike with John on the #BuckeyeTrail, I've completed what's known as the "Little Loop", the roughly 250 mile section in the northeast corner of the trail. About half was road hiking, but the other half was single-track trail in the West Branch State Park.

9.75 miles from the south side of Ravenna to Mogadore Reservoir along the #BuckeyeTrail this morning with John. After 6.75 miles on the road, the last 3 were on single-track trail, and that made up for all the road time - it was beautiful.

Though it was all road hiking today, John and I covered 9.32 miles on the #BuckeyeTrail between Ravenna and Mantua, through Shalersville. Not much to see other than a pretty horse farm.

Our hike on the #BuckeyeTrail today went from north of Hiram, 11.7 miles on road and trail, into the center of Mantua. (Home of Jack Lambert of the Pittsburgh Steelers.) We hiked roads, trails, through a campground, and finished mostly on a rails-to-trails path.

Hiked 15.9 miles on the #BuckeyeTrail today in the Mogadore area. Went past the actual Goodyear Blimp hangar, and while the first 10 miles were on the road, the last 5+ along Mogadore Reservoir were gorgeous!

On a gorgeous day, John Sobolewski and I covered 13 miles on the #BuckeyeTrail, from a little north of Hiram, through the center of Burton, up to the entrance to Headwaters Park at the East Branch Reservoir.

Another great hike of 11.86 miles this morning along the #BuckeyeTrail with John Sobolewski, south of Chardon. Pictures include a lovely view of the East Branch Reservoir at Headwaters Park, a red barn (because who doesn't love red barns?) and a beaver lodge!

Just over 10 miles on the #BuckeyeTrail today, with a loop from Hartville, where I enjoyed the little donuts from "Peace, Love, and Little Donuts" as an after-hike treat! Love hiking in the early spring as the buds come out.

Another 10.4 miles on the #BuckeyeTrail, finally completing the Bedford section, hiking between Mentor and Fairport Harbor. Never realized the extent of Mentor Marsh. Wow! I also had to get a selfie at the northern terminus of the Trail.

6.3 mile hike on the #BuckeyeTrail today. All road, but got closer to completing the Bedford section of the trail today. Interesting sights included a commemorative stone to Levi Smith, 1774 to 1820, and a really interesting Tudor-style house and associated buildings.

Day 4 - Last #Golf Day - Talking Stick Golf Club, O'odham Course. Flat, wide-open course today, well maintained. Shot a 90, for my best round of the week! Really a great trip, but looking forward to getting home now.

Day 3 - Rancho Manana Golf Club in Cave Creek AZ. A bit chillier today, and the course was a lot tighter. Only used the driver a couple of times. Still shot a 92, though, so that was good. #Golf

Last night members of the @COChorus met virtually. It was our first meet up since our final concert in early March. It was great to see the folks again, and sad that singing is one of the worst ways to transmit the virus.
