Remembering Sir Patrick Stewart and his remarkable career on stage and screen.

In 1991, Ronald Reagan visited the set of Star Trek: The Next Generation, where he met Stewart and the cast. Stewart later recalled, “It was thrilling to have him on the set. We were all honored by arently, President Reagan didn't need an invitation to take a seat in the captain's chair. As #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth comes to a close, we’re remembering Nancy Reagan’s commitment to raising awareness and encouraging early detection.

After her own breast cancer was discovered through a routine mammogram, Mrs. Reagan chose to share her diagnosis publicly to help mportance of regular screenings. In July 1994, she established the Nancy Reagan Breast Center in Simi Valley, which has continued that mission for more than 30 years.

Today, the center screens more than 10,000 women annually and provides free mammography services to patients in need through the Free Clinic of Simi Valley.

Looking forward to sitting down with Guy Benson (@guypbenson) at the @RonaldReagan Library on December 1 to talk about my new book, Peace Through Strength: How Reagan’s Military Buildup Won the Cold War.

President Reagan understood that peace required strength, and his military buildup was central to the strategy that helped bring the Cold War to an end.
I’ll share some of the stories and lessons behind the book. If you’re in Simi Valley, I’d love to see you there.
