Lula's former defense lawyer extended Brazil's voting deadline on election day. Not for the whole country. Just for precincts that favored Lula. Everyone else got the normal cutoff.

Lula won. Now he wants greater control over social media.

Does any of this sound familiar?

Jair mer conservative president, received a prison sentence of 27 years and three months, basically for opposing Lula. His son Flávio ran against Lula this year, won the first round, and challenged the result of Sunday's runoff.

So Supreme Court Justice Cristiano Zanin -- Lula's former defense lawyer -- rigged the game. Lula's supporters got an extended opportunity to vote. No one else.

Sounds pretty 3am ballot-y to me.

And it gets worse. Immediately after the rigged election was called in Lula's favor, Flávio Bolsonaro's passport was cancelled. Lula intended to throw him in prison like his father, pretty much for having run against him.

Then, if that weren't bad enough, Lula used his victory speech to announce that social media platforms must be censored.

Alex Soros and other Democrats celebrated all this. Apparently, putting the opposition's former president behind bars and promising more control over political communication are how the Left defends "Our Democracy" now.

But that's not "democracy". That's communism. If a Democrat tells you they're "defending democracy", they mean they're defending rule by Democrats. And you better not get in their way.

Brazil demonstrates that you can have "elections" all you want and still lose the ability to change the outcome. A ruling faction can preserve the ceremony while using courts and censorship to make replacing it harder with every election.

Let a government punish peaceful opposition, and even helping your neighbors replace it becomes a risk. Ask attorneys like John Eastman, disbarred by the overwhelmingly Democrat California Bar simply because he represented Donald Trump.

They don't see you as a citizen. They see you as a subject, and one they barely tolerate.

And yet some Republicans want to sit out the midterms because they're upset about gas prices? How short-sighted and stupid can you get? You're not going to have to worry about gas prices in prison, or even after Democrats fulfill their promise to ban internal combustion engines. And what do you think that will do to prices?

Don't be a moron. Your disappointment won't restrain the Democrats who take power in your absence. It won't protect your speech, your business, or your children. It will give people who despise your convictions more authority over all three.

Vote. Tell your friends what's at stake. Make the calls. Drive people to the polls.

The Left can count on its committed supporters. It also counts on conservatives who decide that withholding their vote will teach Republicans a lesson.

Any Democrat who won't condemn what just happened in Brazil is a totalitarian, and you will find their jackboot on your throat if you let them take power.

Brazil is a warning. Take it seriously while you still can.

This is how they do it.
You may have heard about Brazil, Flavio Bolsonaro, and Justice Alexandre de Moraes, who ordered his passport seized minutes after he lost the runoff. On Wednesday, Flavio landed in Miami.

What you probably don't know is that this story didn't start this week. Not even this year. Brazilians to reconstruct what happened to their country.

What we found: a tax audit that reached two justices' homes. An inquiry the Court opened to police its own critics. A banned social network. A banker whose parties, investigators say, flew in women from Europe for politicians, and who texted Alexandre de Moraes on the day of his arrest. 🧵

Brazil has fallen to the communists. We're next if we're stupid.
Did you know…

2014: the candidate who ran against Lula’s party died.

2018: the candidate who ran against Lula’s party was stabbed and nearly killed.

2022: the candidate who ran against Lula’s party is serving a 27-year sentence for a “coup” that never happened.

2026: Flávio Bolsonaro, the candidate who ran against Lula, is in exile.

What are the odds? Just huge coincidences.

And Lula wants us to believe he won the election fairly?

If politicians can silence a pastor merely by calling a biblical issue "political," they can silence him on anything.

The murder of infants becomes "political." Marriage becomes "political." Canada euthanizing more people than die in America from gunshot wounds becomes "political." Even castrating kids: "political".

If a pastor can't speak to that stuff, why bother to have one at all? Honestly. This is the very definition of fiddling while Rome burns. It is Hananiah in front of Zedekiah (and you pastors should know that story).

The pastor who promised to preach the full counsel of God needs the Democrat Party's permission to finish his sermon? No.

Pastors too often act as though the Christian life extends no further than your church services, your life group, and your quiet time. Bunk. Not one word of Scripture supports that nonsense.

Scripture has a LOT to say about our individual responsbility to push back against evil. But it has LOT more to say about the King's responsibility.

Guess what: in America, the people are the King. We are ALL responsible, and our pastors MUST equip us.

Pastors owe their congregations moral instruction that reaches beyond their "private" lives (and what is that anyway?). Your children attend schools. Your business operates under laws. Your neighbors suffer when government protects evil or punishes good.

Loving those neighbors includes caring about what government does to them. And too often, the key phrase is "to them".

A Christian doesn't stop belonging to Christ when he enters a voting booth. The Ten Commandments don't expire at the statehouse door. Murder doesn't become acceptable when a legislature authorizes it. Theft doesn't become righteous because an official benefits.

Public officials need to hear what God requires of them. But public officials who are advancing evil need to be replaced. If you saw a criminal about to murder a woman you would be required to act. How is a politician who wants to castrate kids and murder babies (or old people) any different?

Church members are also citizens. They live in the world even if they aren't of it. They need to understand what they are supporting and vote accordingly. If they don't, they just hand power to people who hate them and hate Christ.

We know what is required of faithful believers when it comes to the King. Nathan confronted David. John the Baptist rebuked Herod. In America, we are the King. We must confront and rebuke our neighbors who support sin, and we must confront and defeat our leaders who advance it.

Pastors must also preach repentance and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Your preferred candidate can win every election for the rest of your life and still never save your soul.

When pastors tell the truth about these things, some people will call that divisive. Some will leave.

They left Jesus too. Didn't stop him from preaching against the evils of the authorities, or of individuals, or anybody.

A shepherd cannot let the most easily offended person decide which parts of Scripture everybody else gets to hear.

Pastors answer to Christ for what they teach, but also for what they leave unsaid. When their people face public demands to approve what God condemns, those people should already know why they must refuse.

And if you're hiding behind your "tax status", you're a coward. The apostles weren't tax-exempt, and I'm sorry, but they were all better preachers than you.

Preach the whole Word. Apply it to the lives your people actually live. Christ's authority reaches all of it.

And yet somehow this is "defending Our Democracy". By which is meant only "rule by Democrats".

Quite right.
My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:

1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.

2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.

3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.

This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.

All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

Fact Check: True.
“Iran is the gas station of Xi Jinping.”

Richard Miniter just claimed that Trump’s war in Iran is actually “designed to prevent a war” between China and Taiwan.

And he told me that Chinese military documents argue for “war in Taiwan in 2027.”

“That’s next year.”

Iran, he th “below market fuel, oil and natural gas.”

“And it needs that fuel to maintain its economy.”

“How would you prevent China from invading Taiwan and forcing the United States to fight across the vast and cold Pacific Ocean?”

“If you take out their source of oil and natural gas and other energy products from Iran, it’s not able to have this war over here in Taiwan.”

“You can prevent a war in the Far East by taking out a regime that deserves to go anyway, from the Trump perspective.”

“I don’t think the American public has been presented with the global benefits of the Trump strategy.”

They are not at all who they pretended to be.
If John Cornyn and George W. Bush loved America they would put personal differences w/Ken Paxton aside and support his candidacy for the sake of Texas and the nation. Their unforgivable silence tells us EVERYTHING about them. VOTE FOR KEN PAXTON!

This is funny because statistically if only parents were allowed to vote, no Democrat would ever be elected to public office ever again
