What a day @SaleCricketClub with @allrounderapp !
Around 100 kids in our junior section got to meet @henrygayle
An absolute gentleman, great with the kids and took time to do every selfie and every autograph #universalboss #saletown #salem33

Super performance
Looks like Foulkes was holding his hamstring at end, hopefully only cramp!

Say what you like about selection but anyone with a 100% pen record in this team has to play!

It appears that JDS knee problems have continued, really feel for the lad
Would love to see him flourish in second season like Turi has
DA got the call right ok new contract

Odd exchange between Matt Dean and DA last night re Evan Khouri
Dean is not one to throw mud at the wall hoping something sticks, he usually has heard something with one of his loaded questions
Flat denial from DA

Lads have had a real good go there
Can’t fault the effort
Morgan has been a handful
Unfortunately lack of defence cover is hurting us, look vulnerable down the sides
Could easily be in front but no suprise we are behind

Goal was always going to come that way
Playing man for man with a 3 and wingback high is leaving us exposed
Shame as playing nicely, no lack of endeavour

Petit said a while ago we have doubled down on Jamestown strategy - buy young raw players and get Artell to improve them
Changing manager now throws all that work away
Board will give him time, we need to get behind the team

Not sure how we change this, lack of options in central midfield is a real problem
Bring Cook on for Vernham and tuck Morgan in on left is only thing I can think might help

Too easy
Confidence looks shot
Enforced changes at back hurting us
Pruti not a left back
Midfield second best again
Pym kept us in it
One bit of quality Turi only chance
Not sure how we change this other than Cook

14th October 1997 - On a famous night under the Blundell Park floodlights, Grimsby Town come from behind to knock holders Leicester City out of the League Cup 3-1. A rare Kevin Jobling goal and a brace from Steve Livingstone stunning the Premier League side. Att: 7738 #GTFC #LCFC

Game lost in midfield today
Lost too many second balls
Very little quality on the ball
Not replacing George McEachran like-for-like is really hurting us
Turi running on fumes today nd missing last few is no coincidence

When the choice of MOM is between Pym and Maldini you can tell how the game has gone

Lucky to be only one down
Ball in behind McJannet is killing us
Turi looks off the pace (unsurprisingly)
Cookie isolated
Midfield need to control game much better
Thankfully they are as wasteful as us in front of goal
