@RetroRGB I have been looking for something that would allow me to input HDMI into my retrotink 5X pro as i have a lot of stuff that uses HDMI out that i would love to give nicer scanlines to like retro games on switch. Would something like this work for doing that?

@Matt_Volk Mine arrived next-day. Maybe they're sold out already?

@RetroRGB Would you still need a downscaler, like a GBS-C or something, between your console and this for CRT use?,

@RetroRGB Been using this for years since it also does 480i if you have a compatible device like an old Pi 3. Great way to watch SD content.

@RetroRGBs very similar to a pair of MayFlash adapters I got for free as part of the Amazon Vine program; mine had Genesis inputs and Neo Geo inputs on them. As close to "lag free" as I could believe and great video quality, too. $22 for Genesis (comes with the model 2 adapter) and $20 for the Neo Geo!

@RetroRGB So what would be a real life use case of this cable? I can only think of something like ReplayOS that supports a 240p out of HDMI output.
