She was a trailblazer, a force for change, and a labor giant who spoke truth to power. And her brilliance and sweat equity transformed our labor and civil r.
Earlier this year, we heard her survivor story for the first time—something she carried for decades for fear of fracturing the movement she dedicated her life to. That act of courage was felt deeply in the survivor community and is a testament to how she never stopped impacting people’s lives.
Today, let us organize, agitate, and work every day towards the vision she labored for: a just America where everyone has more than enough to live a safe, dignified life.
