Border policy has consequences for public safety and for the taxpayers paying the bills.
The Council of Economic Advisers estimates that blanket amnesty could add $36 billion to $47 billion a year in combined spending on SNAP, housing assistance, and Medicaid. That is an eady spent. But taxpayers deserve to see the assumptions and the full price tag.
Enforce the border consistently. Require E-Verify. Remove people with final removal orders.
And fix the legal process for people who follow the rules. A secure border and a functioning legal immigration system belong together.

According to the White House, nonfatal violent crime fell 25% in 2025. That’s encouraging progress, but our work is far from over.
We must continue supporting law enforcement, solving crimes, clearing DNA backlogs, and delivering justice for victims and their families.
Public safety is about more than statistics. It’s about ensuring every American can live without fear.

School attendance lines affect a child's classroom, friendships, and daily routine.
DeKalb school officials have released a third redistricting proposal to address overcrowding. If approved, elementary and middle school changes would begin in fall 2027.
Before a decision, moms and dads deserve clear maps, school-by-school capacity numbers, and answers about transportation. They deserve to know how their feedback shaped the final plan.
The goal should be better schools for children, not just new lines on a map.
