As a mother and grandmother, I want every family to have the opportunity to thrive and every child to have the chance to succeed.

I will always fight for policies that support families, protect our children, strengthen their financial future, and help build a brighter future for the next generation.

For over 30 years, I had the privilege of caring for patients and families across southeast Iowa. I know how important it is for every Iowan, no matter where they live, to have access to quality health care.

I will continue fighting to strengthen access to care, lower costs, and put patients first.

As a 24-year Army veteran, I know what it costs to serve. The missed birthdays, the empty chairs at the table, the friends who didn't come home.

It's why I voted to end the war in Iran before it became forever.

Our veterans gave everything they had. I will never stop fighting in Congress to make sure they get the care and support they have earned. 🇺🇸

Since coming to Congress, I have secured more than $87 million in Community Project Funding for Southeast Iowa.

I’ll keep fighting to make sure your hard-earned tax dollars are invested in our communities, strengthening infrastructure, supporting families, and creating opportunities, not wasted in Washington’s dysfunction.

For too long, Iowans have watched their good-paying jobs get shipped overseas. But no more! The new $15 billion steel mill coming to Southeast Iowa will bring 1,700 good-paying jobs to our region, create new opportunities for Iowa families, and strengthen our economy for generations to come.

It’s time to bring American manufacturing back home, and Iowa is leading the way!

I own zero individual stocks, and neither does my husband. Public service should be about serving the people, not padding a portfolio.

I led legislation to ban congressional stock ownership. Now I’m fighting to extend that ban to the executive branch and Supreme Court Justices.

Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, M.D. retweeted
Over 4 million women in the U.S. have a history of breast cancer. Yet after a mastectomy, Medicare leaves survivors with limited options: off-the-shelf inserts or reconstructive surgery.

That's why @RepMMM and I reintroduced our bipartisan Breast Cancer Patient Equity Act to expand coverage for custom breast prostheses.

Every survivor deserves care that works for their body, on their terms.

The middlemen driving up drug prices just lost their hiding place. The Department of Labor finalized a rule forcing PBMs and their affiliated brokers and consultants to disclose what drug manufacturers and pharmacies pay them. No more secret deals. No more backroom fees.

I've fought to expose these middlemen since my time in the Iowa legislature, and through my DRUG Act and Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act. I will fight until every American pays less at the pharmacy counter.

Celebrated the grand opening of Timber Ridge in Davenport, with 52 new affordable homes for Iowa seniors!

Affordable housing is personal to me, which is why I helped pass the Working Families Tax Cuts, which expanded Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, and led the 21st Century ROAD keep fighting for more projects like this, so every Iowan at every stage of life has a place to call home. 🏡

Every woman deserves the information and resources she needs to understand her breast cancer risk and access appropriate screening, preventive care, and treatment.

I’ve fought to expand access to early detection through my EARLY Act. HHS’s recent announcement builds on that work by expanding breast density education and helping women access the care they need. 🎀

Permitting reform is critical to strengthening American energy production, speeding up project approvals, expanding manufacturing, and building the infrastructure our country needs.

Congress must act now! We can’t afford to delay these reforms that will strengthen or energy production and security. Let’s make permitting reform a priority and get it across the finish line as soon as we return. 🇺🇸
