Great to be at the University of Wyoming today for a Law Enforcement Roundtable with the men and women on the front lines keeping our communities safe.
We had a productive discussion on some of the most pressing law enforcement challenges facing Wyoming and the country, as well cessful partnership we’ve had together including:
🇺🇸 Counter-UAS: Expanding FBI training nationwide to help our law enforcement partners detect, track, and defeat emerging drone threats.
⚽ 2026 FIFA World Cup: Sharing operational successes and lessons learned from our efforts to secure the world’s largest sporting event.
🇺🇸 Joint ops including Operation Steadfast Promise: Delivering the FBI’s largest commitment to Indian Country in Bureau history - nearly 400 FBI personnel dedicated to Indian Country and 30 Safe Trails Task Forces, committed to crushing violent crime with tribal partners
🇺🇸 Our 59 Homeland Security Task Forces (HSTF) and over 200 Joint Terrorism Task Forces operating in all FBI field offices: Working across agencies to dismantle criminal organizations, disrupt the drug supply chain, and take the fight directly to transnational criminal networks.
🇺🇸 I-80 Corridor: Tackling drug trafficking, human trafficking, and concerns involving illegal aliens operating commercial vehicles with CDLs along one of America’s critical transportation routes.
🇺🇸 Violent Crime: Our latest numbers show more than 71,000 FBI violent crime arrests in just 21 months, a 112% increase.
