Great news for Washington's Ninth District. Today, the House of Representatives passed a package that will deliver $6,316,000 in community project funds back to our community in WA-09.

These Community Project Funding investments reflect what our communities are asking for — ighborhoods, and more opportunities for young people to succeed. I will continue fighting to ensure federal resources are directed where they can make the greatest local impact.

A year ago, I introduced the Behavioral Health Crisis Care Centers, legislation to expand access to one-stop crisis stabilization centers that provide behavioral health services, housing support, and wraparound care under one roof. With our country’s behavioral health crisis system stretched thin, we must equip our communities with resources to better respond to the nationwide mental and behavioral health crisis, and this bill does just that.

Dolores Huerta was a motivating, courageous figure in the labor movement, paving the way for thousands of workers by creating a more just system of economic justice and opportunity. Her dedication to peaceful protest on behalf of the United Farm Workers proves the power of a single voice in our democracy. May her legacy be an inspiration to us all.

In Renton, I toured the King County Wastewater Treatment Plant, where an average of 90 million gallons of wastewater is treated per day, serving communities in Auburn, Bellevue, Issaquah, Kent, and Renton. I continue to support federal funds to support their services and supply ible for Washington. Thanks for having me.

Thanks to @WashingtonTrade for having me at their Seattle office to discuss international trade. Having commerce hubs in our communities builds our businesses and workers, and I will continue to work on the federal level to resolve supply chain constraints, remove harmful mestic ports.

I stopped by New Frontier Aerospace in Kent to see their work to build rocket engines, spacecraft, and aircraft in our community. Their use of 3D-printed and renewably fueled engines uniquely positions Washington as a leader in space technology, and I look forward to seeing the ng County.

Trump is undermining Ukraine.

This despite the vast majority of Americans supporting Ukraine and the threat that propping up ses not just to our partners and allies, but our own constitutional republic.

Trump ignores the laws we pass on a fairly regular basis, and Republicans in Congress have decided to stand back and let him plow forward.

Too many people across this country struggle to find a quality, high-paying job that has affordable training. A year ago today, I introduced two bills to expand access to workforce training, pre-apprenticeship, and educational programs. Access to job training and education is about more than tuition, but whether someone can afford to get to class, care for their kids, and keep food on the table to support a better future. This is common sense legislation that deserves to be signed into law.

Trump is an unbelievable threat to this country.

Great news for Washington as more than $100 million will be allocated to support semiconductor manufacturing and CHIPS-related initiatives, adding more than 100 jobs and technological innovation in our state. By creating high-voltage semiconductors domestically, we can strengthen U.S. supply chains, cut costs, and drive local economic growth.
