A lasting presence on the Moon starts with power. 🌙⚡

Redwire has been selected by @NASA to provide a Roll-Out Solar Array (ROSA) solution for the agency's @NASAMoonBase lunar surface power demonstration program.

The selection comes just days after astronauts successfully the eighth and final Redwire built ROSA wing on the @Space_Station. Now, Lunar ROSA will bring that proven technology to the Moon, powering sustained operations on the lunar surface.

Backed by decades of space power experience, Redwire's integrated power generation system will begin to address a fundamental requirement for a sustainable presence on the Moon: dependable power where and when missions need it.

The final ROSA wings are rolled out on the International Space Station. ⚡️

Completing a historic effort with @BoeingSpace and @NASA, the fourth and final pair of Redwire's Roll Out Solar Array (ROSA) wings has been successfully deployed on the @Space_Station by Nasa Astronaut Space Agency Astronaunt @Astro_Kutryk following U.S. spacewalks 100 & 101 on October 27 and November 5.

Each ROSA wing provides 20+ kW of power for over 10 years, and all eight wings combined will provide more than 160 kW.

ROSA's success on the ISS has set the stage for future missions on the Moon, Mars, and beyond.

A historic effort with @BoeingSpace and @NASA is complete. ⚡

During U.S. Spacewalk 101, astronauts @Astron_Anil and Canadian Space Agency @Astro_Kutryk installed and deployed the eighth and final Redwire Roll Out Solar Array (ROSA) wing on the @Space_Station, completing a ade that began in 2021.

Each wing delivers more than 20 kW, and together they help bring the station to 215 kW of total power. That performance is backed by a 100% success rate on orbit, a record ROSA has built from the ISS to NASA's DART mission to commercial satellites in geostationary orbit.

Now that same flight proven technology will help power NASA's SR-1 Freedom, targeting launch in 2028, as exploration pushes farther from Earth.

Proven technology on the ISS. Made for the Moon, Mars, and beyond. 🚀

This is the moment we've been building toward since 2021 ☀️

No motors. Just stored energy. Watch our eighth and final ROSA wing unroll across the @Space_Station, adding more than 20 kW of power as it unrolls in orbit.

Every one of these wings was built by Redwire for Proven technology on the ISS. Made for the Moon, Mars, and beyond. 🚀

Seven wings up. One to go ⚡

@astro_anil and @Astro_Kutryk head back outside the @Space_Station this morning to install Redwire's eighth and final ROSA wing, completing a historic power upgrade that began in 2021.

The same technology is built to power exploration on the Moon, Mars, and beyond.

@astro_anil @Astro_Kutryk @Space_Station The eighth and Final Rosa Wing is on the move ⚡️

@astro_anil is riding Canadarm2 with Redwire's final ROSA wing in hand, an array weighing about 750 pounds. It's weightless in space, but every pound of inertia still has to be guided carefully into position.

Redwire Awarded $20 Million Contract for Additional Otter VLEO Testing and Experimentation 🛰️

The contract from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has been awarded to complete additional testing on a scaled version of Redwire’s SabreSat spacecraft for a n very low-Earth orbit (VLEO), as part of the DARPA Otter program.

“This flight test allows us to gather data that cannot be fully recreated on the ground, learn faster, and reduce risk for the full Otter mission. Redwire is not simply building one spacecraft. We are creating the platforms, models, and digital infrastructure needed to make VLEO operational at scale,” said Spence Wise, Redwire Senior Vice President of Missions and Platforms. “Redwire’s continued work on the Otter program enables us to mature propulsion and spacecraft systems that can operate in VLEO. These innovations are building a new class of maneuverable, energy‑efficient spacecraft capable of supporting persistent operations in critical orbital regimes, ultimately equipping national security space missions with distinctive operational advantages, from rapid orbital agility to enhanced tactical responsiveness.”

Made for the Mission, on and off the field. 🏈

As a Proud Drone Technology Partner of the @Commanders, Redwire co-hosted a youth football clinic for military families at Marine Corps Base Quantico on October 22. More than 200 young athletes rotated through stations built on rk.

Military families also had the opportunity to meet TJ, the Commanders' team dog and a service dog in training who will eventually support a veteran through a partnership with Redwire and @WarriorCanineCn.

Redwire is proud of the volunteers who made it happen, and prouder to serve those who serve.

The newest Redwire ROSA wing, rollin' right outside the Japanese module window.

Proven power on the @Space_Station, ready for the Moon and beyond 🌕
Seen through the Japanese module window: The newly installed solar arrays are rollin’ as they provide 45% more power than previously. We are using that power to perform science, manufacture pharmaceuticals, and pave the way to the moon and, eventually, Mars.

Every base on the Moon will start with power. 🌕

That power is already being proven on the @Space_Station. During Spacewalk 100, @NASA astronaut @astro_anil and @csa_asc astronaut @Astro_Kutryk installed the seventh Redwire Roll Out Solar Array (ROSA) wing. Each wing delivers nts over one of the station's original arrays.

Seven wings now on orbit, with the eighth w Nov 5 on U.S. Spacewalk 101.

As @NASAMoonBase builds toward a sustained human presence on the Moon, that same flight proven technology is ready to help power it.
