I disagree. Sales wise yes, but content wise I feel the PS5 played it safe. Too many remakes and remasters, nothing special in terms of UI or PS plus and lack of true innovation. Sony played it safe because they could, this is why competition is important.

After 10 hours in Crimson Desert, it’s an ok game but not the masterpiece many were looking for. This game does certain things well like exploration and activities to keep you distracted. Great voice acting as well, but it’s weakened by clunky controls,

I feel with a future patch to the combat mechanics and menu system it can definitely make the experience a lot more enjoyable. This is definitely a title I will revisit in the future but I have to say as of right now unfortunately the game just isn’t for me.

However I I highly recommend everyone to still give it a try as their is a boatload of things to do and it will bring enjoyment to a lot of players who love total freedom in an open world sandbox game.
