Rounding on call this weekend & walk into the 1st room. Patient is a 66 y/o male. He sees our urology team, all ladies, & before we can say anything, he says “you know, women are the backbone of society”. Maybe there is an upside to rounding?

Many have enucleated a prostate, but has anyone elucidated a prostate? Apparently this afternoon, everything will be made clear!

69M with SP tube since 2020 for ‘atonic bladder’ now s/p HoLEP & SP tube removal 6 months ago. In clinic today no incontinence, Qmax 21 ml/s and PVR 0mL….plus some homemade baklava for the clinic staff 🤌🏼

Speaking of the need for broader patient awareness when it comes to HoLEP...I created a video with @AtriumHealth showcasing HoLEP, so that it can become a procedure patients come in asking about. How convenient! 😉
