Today, we're praying for wisdom and discernment as Election Day approaches.
May God help us recognize truth, carefully examine the words and actions of those seeking office, and faithfully steward the freedoms we've been given.

God will not judge us based on what we own but rather on our stewardship of what He has loaned us. Satan loves it when we think the money in our pockets is ours. He snickers when we believe what we drive, where we live, or the ministry we’re engaged in is ours to own. jackhibbs.com/own-nothing-2/

A Senate candidate admitted he was “being provocative” about God’s gender, then called it not controversial. I joined @tracegallagher on @foxnewsnight last night to say it plainly: you cannot invoke Christ and speak against His Word. Watch the full segment:

What happens when Christians become apathetic about the responsibilities and opportunities before them?
On Day 19 of Election Daily Prayer, we pray for an awakening among believers, for greater civic engagement, and for the protection of unborn life. Join us in asking God to pathy, and guide our nation as the election approaches.

WOW - this should cause you to reevaluate both your religion to see if it's biblically legitimate and also what are the values held by your world view verses what your political loyalties are.
The data below reveals a sorry state of thinking among these groups.
Is it possible to be identified among these groups and still be a Christian according to the Bible? - I think not. How can you support what God has rejected?
The survey says: "There is far more support for Democrats than Republicans among Black Protestants, Hispanic Catholics, atheists, agnostics, and those who describe their religion as “nothing in particular.”

I'm not sure if I have ever shared with the public a private message that was sent to me, but this message has to be shared. I am serious about protecting the privacy of anyone who might reach out to us. So I will edit the sender's name to protect them.
Please enjoy this as much as I have, and let this be a takeaway: If God can use a squirrel to reach someone with His love, He can use you and me.

Subject: The Squirrel of Faith
Good evening Pastor,
I was at your 10:30 AM service today (10/18). It was the first time I’ve set foot in church in many years. While yes, I could have come for many other reasons, it was the squirrel story that you told at your previous service (10/11) that my son‘s grandpa told me about.
I’ve been doing Door Deliveries in the Chino Hills area to supplement my income until I start my new job next month, and the previous week I was doing this, I had just made a delivery by Peyton and Chino Hills Pkwy and saw the fattest squirrel ever. For some reason, seeing this fat lil guy filled me with so much joy in the midst of my anger, depression, anxiety and all the pain I’ve been going through. That squirrel was the highlight of my day.
After a long day of driving around, hearing again in my head my sons grandfather talk about your message, and how you touched on the fact that you really enjoy squirrels, it really perked something up inside of me. It sounds so ridiculously silly even typing this out, but today after sitting through your service and hearing you talk about wildlife and being able to relay that to us as humans having a purpose, gave me a sense of hope and faith I haven’t had in months; maybe even years if I’m being honest.
I know you may never see this, but I needed to get my gratitude out. Thank you and God bless you and your family.
Sincerely,
I.G.

California just gave itself authority over what the church can call sin. AB 1803 won’t go unchallenged.
