Welcome to RAZORWIRE. New Flesh, Old Dust.
Deep in a valley on a nameless planet, a putrid mutated humanity struggles to survive. Horrific disfigured flesh clashes with bio-tech engineered technology. Cowboy boots slide in the blood of puritans and villains alike. An uneasy erhead. The chattering teeth of gibbering cannibals croak in the hills, whilst soft folk echoes from farmsteads below. A huge festering wound of a city pumps out smog and vice. All the while, hungry skeletal ravagers wait in the dark.

Please for the love of God take back us to the peak days. Fallout deserves so much more than what it is today.

I still argue that Floaters were inspired by Floaters from AD&D 2nd Ed Dark Sun

Until AAA companies learn the lesson that the player comes first, they will keep dying. Seems crazy to have to advocate this.
@Iliekturtles12 @Joebno_Gaming In general, I don’t discuss politics or bring politics into game development: I want to focus on the game as entertainment and how to improve the player’s experience – and I want the most skilled person doing the job and making it happen.

Wasn't Andromeda and Veilguard made "for the fans?"
I can finally talk about Mass Effect Universe.

Since Bioware closed I can now reveal that I was part of the Mass Effect Council, saw what BioWare was building, and provided feedback during development.

• Set 600+ years after the Reaper War
• You play as a customizable N7 g a walking gun rack, you're a cross between John Wick and James Bond
• Shepard's legacy preserved, regardless of your ending
• A galaxy divided into three major factions
• Humanity, Krogan, Batarians, and more allied together
• Council races forming their own alliance
• The Geth emerging as a third superpower
• A galactic Cold War instead of another Reaper style invasion with a shadowy adversary
• Geth-built megastructures
• Connections between the Milky Way and Andromeda
• Experimental technology implanted in you as a unique point of difference
• Hacking and manipulating the environment
• See through walls, identify systems, remotely trigger hazards and more
• Handcrafted missions like ME1-3
• But with Hitman-style freedom in how you complete them
• Brutal close-range executions
• Squadmates who can clash with each other
• Romance wasn't being sanitised
• Liara returns - now an incredibly powerful Asari Matriarch

From what I saw, BioWare was making Mass Effect for us, the fans, not for people who don't exist.
It looked incredible.
And now we may never get to play it.

Buy shit from indies, support indies and share their stuff. They deserve it more
This Halloween, treats yourself to an Indie TTRPG. There's plenty of us out there, and we all deserver your support. The big guys have had their shot and they blew it. Today's the day the little guys win. 👑

I honestly think this is the key reason we get so much of this Reddit/Millennial Chungus writing: fear. It's hard to write a good joke. It's hard to write a character with heart. If you don't try, you can't fail.
I also think that reddit chungus writing comes primarily from a place of fear of sincerity. Christ I hope that shit goes the way of the Dodo.

Man, getting a character like Coen of Laslea in this climate is a miracle. Coen is earnest, heroic and written with incredible sincerity. He'a not another wise cracking redditor's wet dream. He's human and naive, which makes sense as the dude is only 20. Amazing writing.
