A 2019 solid-bitumen container test occurred, yet standard liquid crude-by-rail is blocked by the lack of terminal infrastructure plus the north-coast tanker ban. Strathcona is now pitching a new 250 kb/d terminal that would need a federal exemption.

The average in prior months was closer to 226,000 bbl/d. Expecting further flush in August numbers.
