Since its rollout, Digi Yatra has been one of our successful interventions to enhance passenger convenience and reduce congestion at key touchpoints.
Building on feedback from about 11 crore domestic Digi Yatra journeys, trials for Digi Yatra International have commenced today at 7 airports on selected Air India and IndiGo flights.
Based on these trials, a full-fledged rollout is planned for next year, making international travel also more comfortable and seamless.

📢 BIG NEWS FOR ASSAM!
At the request of Chief Minister @himantabiswa ji, the Modi Government has approved Lokapriya Gopinath Bardoloi International Airport, Guwahati, as the export point for Agarwood chips and Agarwood oil.
This is a big relief for farmers, producers, and al product, of which Assam is a leading producer. It is a massive logistical leap not only for Assam but also for the North East, bringing potential markets closer to home.
Many congratulations to our brothers and sisters in Assam as well as the North East.

• Pradhan Mantri Viksit Gram Swaraj Yojana with an outlay of ₹7,395.55 crore to strengthen grassroots governance and promote holistic village development.
• 3% increase in Dearness Allowance for Central Government employees and Dearness Relief for pensioners.
• Container Manufacturing Promotion Scheme with an outlay of ₹10,000 crore to boost domestic production, reduce import dependence and strengthen supply chains.
These decisions reflect a commitment to empowering people, strengthening domestic industries and advancing the vision of Viksit Bharat.

I spoke with Union Home Minister Shri @AmitShah Ji and briefed him on the impact of #CycloneArnab across Andhra Pradesh.
I explained the extensive damage caused by the cyclone, particularly to agricultural and horticultural crops, power infrastructure, roads and other public assets. I also apprised him of the ongoing heavy rainfall in cyclone-affected districts, the prevailing ground situation, and the extensive relief and restoration operations being undertaken by the State Government.
In view of the widespread damage, I requested the Union Home Minister to depute Central teams at the earliest to assess the losses and extend financial assistance from the Government of India to support relief, rehabilitation and restoration efforts.

A preparedness review for Cyclonic Storm 'Arnab' was undertaken, and necessary instructions have been issued to airlines and airports to ensure passenger safety and timely communication of flight updates.

🔹In the light of IMD inputs that expects Cyclonic Storm "Arnab" to intensify into a Very Severe Cyclonic Storm and cross the Andhra Pradesh coast on 28 October, with winds of 125–135 kmph and he Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) organised a review meeting to assess the situation and ensure aviation safety.
🔹Flights to and from coastal Andhra Pradesh and southern Odisha (including Bhubaneswar) are expected to be most affected. Hyderabad, Varanasi, Prayagraj and Gorakhpur may see knock-on delays depending on the storm's track.
🔹MoCA stressed on inter agency coordination between stakeholders like AAI, DGCA, BCAS, IMD, airline and airport operators, NDRF, disaster management authorities of AP, Odisha and WB and others to ensure passenger safety.
