🏆 @DRXGLOBAL ARE THE 2022 WORLD CHAMPIONS #WORLDS2022 🏆

Big news! The 2022 @LCK_Global broadcast will have an analyst desk starting tomorrow. It will be run by myself, @ChroniclerCasts, @Atlustv, and @BrendanValdes. You will get all four of us five days a week. The plan is to eventually bring more guests as well. Look forward to it!

looking forward to reading and watching more nerdy crap in 2022, happy new year and stay safe everyone

Alarm was one of KR OW's first-ever stars. Still remember the night he played out of his mind on Rein and got dubbed "Alarm the 16th" by mesmerized casters. That was all the way back in APEX S1. It always felt incredible how he only burned brighter w/ each passing year since then

Hoping he and his family and friends find peace. I have no doubt he will be remembered well

It has been endlessly interesting and frustrating to watch a roster with incredible talent, no shotcaller, and negative synergy essentially waste their prime years together playing some uniquely terrible drafts. Glad they at least went out on a high note. They've worked hard.

Ilyo reports that ex-Griffin director Cho Gyu-nam's indefinite ban from all Riot esports has been quietly reduced to a two-year ban (which will end on Nov 20). The change was made this past July following Cho's appeal to the Esports Fairness Committee.

I'm no longer a full-time journo and don't have the time or the means to investigate this further, but I trust others will. One thing I do know is that the people responsible for the Griffin fiasco never left KR esports, and have been ramping up their influence again this year.

Tonight myself, @Atlustv, and @ChroniclerCasts will be doing a TRI△CAST from the LCK studio! Tune in to see top tier #Worlds2021 action and more than the daily recommended dosage of Cloud Souls. twitch.tv/riotgames

.@magnetbrain's journey doesn't start with his #Paralympic gold medals or his #VALORANT career.

It starts as a 11-year-old inspired by what he saw at Beijing 2008, and the arduous journey since.

In July, I caught up with Lee Se-hyun (@Seregraphy), #LCK's official photographer, to chat about his background, his approach to the job, his passion for League of Legends and how he manages the balance between artist and record keeper.

this was also my last article for the daily. i'll miss seeing our brilliant layout designers prove on a weekly basis how cool esports stories can look in print, but i'm sure other newspapers will follow suit someday. anyway, let me know if you're in seoul and want to catch up :)

some of the final few layouts (tamer than before)

On this day in 2012, KT Rolster's StarCraft: Brood War player Woo "Violet" Jung-ho passed away from acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He was 23 years old. Nine years have gone by since Violet left, but the echoes of his departure can still be felt.

Winning is what this @LAGladiators roster was built to do, and taking the Countdown Cup title in a tempestuous 4-3 win over Chengdu was the first step in forging a new reputation for an org that's prone to falling short of expectations.
