Quick life update: I’ve joined @vercel Labs as a Software Engineer.

I’ll be working on agent tooling with @ctatedev: agent-browser, json-render, portless, and more.

Open source changed my career. Moved from Lima to Buenos Aires for this one.

Let’s ship β–²

QoL improvement, now more than ever it’s essential to run autonomous security reviews on every PR you ship. That’s how we work on the Labs team 🀝
I've been looking forward to this day, because Vercel has an internal security agent that is **astonishingly effective** (lovingly called @πš‘πšŠπšŒπš”πšŽπš›). Every single line of code gets audited, automatically.

You can now get the same power. Just enable it on all your repos (this product works whether you host on Vercel or not) and your peace of mind will increase tremendously. You'll see it catch things that every other agent misses.

Why: you cannot just bank on your engineers having a skill installed, prompting "please make secure", or rolling the weights' dice that the code is good out of the gate.

The other cool thing about this is that this was entirely developed by our security team. A lot of companies out there are probably in a mad rush right now trying to staff up. If you wanted to 'download a security team' as software, this is the closest you get today.

In the latest release of agent-desktop, your agents reliably operate macOS system surfaces: the Dock, the menu bar, and Control Center.

Also in 1.1.0:
β€’ Refs stay on the exact element, even after the UI changes
β€’ Visible typing caret and steady-paced typing

npm i -g agent-desktop

Asked an agent for Angry Birds, then flashed it to a Raspberry Pi Pico 2 from the browser.

The game is TypeScript. scriptc from @vercel Labs compiles it to machine code, and WebUSB sends it to the chip, which runs it directly.

Just curate your own skills
Here’s your monthly reminder that you shouldn’t be prompting coding agents anymore.

You should be designing loops that prompt your agents.

your agent can now test desktop apps end to end.

agent-desktop reads native apps through the accessibility tree. It drills into just the part of the window it needs, so it spends fewer tokens.
