Retzius-sparing RARP (PPFS) with improved earlier continence in comparison with both standard RARP and anterior hood sparing RARP (APFS).

Great to have my mentor Down Under to share his experience on Retzius Sparing RALP with @USANZUrology. I think we convinced a few people 😉

Yet another example of why it pains me when urologists make nerve-sparing decisions during radical prostatectomy based solely on MRI findings.

Anterior positive surgical margin rates during Retzius sparing RARP may not be as high as originally thought. Our unselected cohort suggests this approach is still safe for anterior tumours. @pjscharlesworth @marclaniado @DrTroyGianduzzo
@JUrology @ZBahouth @marclaniado @RFowlr Thank you @JUrology for publishing our series of Retzius sparing RARPs n=529. rsRARP offers excellent early / immediate continence however ? pay off with PSMs. Our consecutive unselected cohort with anterior PSMs of only 0.9% will hopefully attract more to this great technique

T&T36: when placing a STIFF wire for ureteral access. If ureteral orifice stay round and narrow around guide wire, no need to try UAS placement: place JJ or consider sheathless technique. But if UO opens like a « tente » great chance for UAS placement
