With World Cup matches upcoming in Canada 🇨🇦 Pilots are reminded to check all NAV CANADA NOTAMs for CYVR and CYYZ/CYTZ

⚠️ Unauthorized entry into restricted airspace may prompt a #NORAD response!"

To avoid this, fly informed and safely ⚽️
With World Cup ⚽ matches kicking off in the U.S. and Canada this week, we are reminding all pilots to ensure awareness of, and compliance with, all pertinent #NOTAMs and flight-planning resources – even for your routine flight patterns.

🇨🇦 In Canada ➡️ Watch for NAV CANADA al-use airspace publications for CYVR/Vancouver and CYYZ/CYTZ/Toronto.

🇺🇸 In the U.S. ➡️ Check all applicable #FAA NOTAMs, TFRs, and additional guidance for regions hosting World Cup activity.

⚠️ Reminder: Unauthorized entry into restricted airspace can trigger an undesired security response, including an intercept by #NORAD fighter aircraft.

To avoid these outcomes, plan ahead.

Fly informed. Fly safe.

Enjoy the matches while NORAD watches the skies.
