VCs, I've decided this is the career I want to build, and I'm going to do what it takes to break in.
I've been a founder, worked alongside 40+ early-stage founders, worked in venture, and spent years thinking out loud online. If you've read my writing, you know I'm relentlessly curious, think in patterns, and can't help asking why things are the way they are.
I don't actually care which door I walk through into venture. I care about getting in the room.
Research, sourcing, founder support, events, diligence, portfolio work. I'm on it. DMs are open.

if you're not inspired by at least one new thing or person you encounter every day what are you doing?

When I advise founders on keynotes these are my tips:
- Have an outline; don't stick to it word for word
- Have 3-5 banger soundbites planned out that you know will clip well
- Have one very good diagram
Here's why. People want to look smart. Very few speakers are completely captivating. So be able to catch interest when attention has waned. People will take a picture of your diagram + quote your banger soundbite and act like your talk changed their life.

If everyone on your investment team comes from similar backgrounds, knows similar people, and evaluates companies through similar frameworks, where exactly do you expect your non-consensus insights to come from?

it's cute when VCs say they love betting on underrated, unproven founders but won't take the same risk on associates or partners ✨

NYC what is the best Subway sandwich location in the city? I desperately want a meatball marinara sub that tastes like my childhood and it’s disappointed me every time for the past 5 years.

Wow I realized I am sitting on an absolute heater of a lazy Halloween costume - meta Amanda Seyfried playing Elizabeth Holmes.
