2026 will forever be a year of high energy prices. Not just in the U.S., but globally.

Thank you Trump.

Feels like we need a trigger to reverse the current bearish segment. Meaning it won’t reverse naturally without any new oumf

Electricity is the play.
$MSFT Microsoft has canceled an AI data center deal with Nvidia-backed Nscale in the UK 🤖❌

The facility was expected to house around 23,000 Nvidia GPUs, but electricity may not be available until the 2030s.

Other deals between Microsoft and Nscale are not affected.

I often think about how we will look back at this Trump presidency in 4-5 years. When we’ll have the benefit of seeing it all in retrospect.

🇺🇸 America’s AI build-out is 24 GW short of its own plans.

The 18 biggest AI campuses are planned at 30 GW.

About 6 GW runs today, according to Epoch AI estimates.

The largest is Meta’s Hyperion in Louisiana, planned at 5 GW, and none of it runs yet.

Its power plan is 10 GW, an $ 11bn deal that Meta pays for.

Seven of those plants still need regulator approval.

None of the 18 campuses is in California.

They cluster in Texas, Louisiana, Ohio, Tennessee and the Midwest, close to gas supply and with room to build turbines.

If that 24 GW gap ran on gas around the clock, it would burn 3.6 Bcf/d.

That’s about the feedgas for 25+ Mtpa of LNG, more than all of Alaska LNG.

Data centres and export terminals are now bidding for the same US molecules.

The question for 2027 is whether turbines, pipelines and Henry Hub can keep up with the chips.

How can anyone listen to this, and think, yeah he’s right.
🚨🇺🇸 Vance: I sympathize with Americans who are exhausted by 25 years of foreign interventions in the Middle East. I understand their concerns, but the difference is that back then, we had stupid presidents.

I comment on one inbred MAGA post, and suddenly my entire feed is full of them.

This idiotic administration has only one gear: bomb more, bully more, attack more, argue more, insult more.

This was probably a good strategy in 80-90s NYC real estate - but it has been a disaster on the world stage.

MAGA in 2026:

- Russia is no longer the enemy.

- High gas prices are suddenly a small price to pay.

- Socialism is evil, but handing everyone $5k is brilliant.

- The Epstein files? Better keep those hidden.

- Decades-old alliances? Tear them apart.

- No more foreign wars, unless we’re the ones starting them.

- Higher inflation? Apparently something to celebrate.

- Every success is Trump’s. Every failure is Biden’s.

- Government spending is terrible, unless Trump proposes it.

- Free speech is sacred, unless you’re criticizing Trump; ban media from the White House.

- Corruption is unacceptable, unless it’s our side doing it.

- Fiscal responsibility matters, until it doesn’t.

- Add 30% to the nation’s debt.

The nerve …
Mike Johnson: Everybody's frustrated about fuel prices, obviously. But that's not related to policies. It's not related to the Republicans in office.
