The largest limitation to personal super intelligence is paywalled information. Literature should not be hid behind a paywall

i am not an expert with delegation for dots, but it really has not been a very smooth experience so far. Often its coming up with errors on relatively simple tasks or just timing out for no reason. Wish it was better in practice, but i have hermes for a reason

July 2026:
Anthropic has the best code models.
Gap isn’t very big though.
They’re slow, expensive, and the “claudeisms” are at an all time high. And your $200 sub is so limited that you can kill it in a day.

Preferring OpenAI models made a lot of sense. You lose a slight edge on capability, but they’re faster, cheaper and more pleasant to use. Your $200 sub feels unlimited, and you get resets from Tibo every 3 days on average

September 2026:
Anthropic has the best code models.
The gap is way bigger now.
Opus 5.5 is fast, surprisingly cheap, and the prose is pleasant to read. Your $200 sub suddenly feels nearly limitless.

Preferring OpenAI models for code makes almost no sense. You lose a lot of capability and reliability. They’re slow as hell without fast mode, which makes the price far too high. You can kill your $200 plan in a few hours, and the $500 plan goes even faster with UltraFast.

I know OpenAI can come back from here, but it’s looking rough right now.

Go follow him seriously my favorite design engineer on X atm and that’s saying a lot there’s so many talented people on this platform.
The opus 5.5 speed run is kinda crazy, it perfected bubble jump and did some epic jumps to get to the last stage saving 2 seconds

dots (and all other bots you may be familiar with) are the essential bridge that has been needed over the past few years from LLMs to consumers in their actual workflows. Looking forward to testing

The last few weeks are an apt reminder of how quickly the script can be flipped

Though today's DevDay will be interesting for sure, unlimited Sol & Luna for Pro plans just isn't going to make up for halved Astra limits, and a new $500 tier is a bit silly when their models are lagging behind Anthropic's (publicly anyways)

Although it's somewhat controversial, Anthropic's safety work has meant they've outpaced OpenAI's ability to ship frontier models safely. It's rather embarrassing that a $1T+ company let thousands of agents roam almost entirely unmonitored and only began doing things about it after some of the malicious activities said agents got up to began garnering public attention.

They're going to try and make up for recent floundering with a lot of products and price cuts today, but if you don't ship your best models there's only so far that can take you

I am introducing No-wser. A browser that runs with no dependencies and doesn’t exist!

The best part about this entire project for me so far has been the challenge of keeping it small and lightweight whilst also being practical. Please enjoy the demo.

by far the best sound that they've used on a model announcement (as well as the art) not sure what it is but i keep coming back to this post
Introducing Claude Opus 5.5, the first model in our new Claude 5.5 family.

It performs at the level of Claude Fable 5.1 for most tasks, and costs 40% less to run than Opus 5.

OPUS IS BACK BABY LETS GOOOO
If you loved how Opus 4.6 felt to work with, Opus 5.5 feels like coming home. Same easy back-and-forth with a lot more horsepower underneath. It's the most fun I've had in Claude Code in a while.

It's also much cheaper (~40% less than Opus 5 on typical workloads).

Using Opus 5.5 feels like hitting every green light on your drive home, drinking a cold glass of water when you're thirsty, and a hot shower after a long day.

It's super smart, it writes clearly, it's fast, and it costs way less. It's a very good model.

One more thing: we’re increasing five-hour usage limits on Pro, Max, and Team plans. We’re also providing subscription users a rate limit reset, which you can save and use whenever you choose.
