Security notice from Pontem🚨

We’ve noticed an increase in impersonation attempts involving people claiming to represent Pontem team members.

Pontem Network provides an alternative way to withdraw funds via Liquidswap DEX Client.

Due to Pontem Wallet and Liquidswap being disconnected from the Aptos Indexer, withdrawals now need to be completed manually.

How to withdraw funds:

1. Connect Petra Wallet to
pontem-network.github.io/liquidswap-cli…
2. Select the required liquidity pool
3. Withdraw liquidity

If you have active liquidity positions or remaining balances in Liquidswap, this client allows you to manage pools and withdraw funds directly.

For accurate balance display and wallet management, it is also recommended to import Pontem Wallet into Petra.

ESET discovered PromptLock, the first known AI-powered ransomware.

It generates malicious Lua scripts on the fly, works on Windows, Linux, and macOS, and can exfiltrate or encrypt files.

Looks like a PoC, but it shows how AI can become a real threat in cybersecurity.
u think? Is this a game changer for data security and DevSecOps?🤔

#ESETResearch has discovered the first known AI-powered ransomware, which we named #PromptLock. The PromptLock malware uses the gpt-oss:20b model from OpenAI locally via the Ollama API to generate malicious Lua scripts on the fly, which it then executes 1/6
