Great Yarmouth remembers.

A fantastic turnout for Remembrance Sunday, here in Ripley, Derbyshire.

Remember them.

They gave up the futures they deserved so that our generations might have one.

They never got to grow old. They never got to watch their children grow up, hold their grandchildren, or experience the lives we’ve lived.

They never got to enjoy so many of the ordinary, and so very beautiful things, that we barely give a second thought these days.

The simple privilege of growing old and building a family in a country you love.

These are the joys they were denied, all so that we could live with freedom and prosperity.

When we say that they gave their lives, we must remember what that really means.

They gave everything they were, everything they loved, and everything they might one day have become.

They gave us the chance to live the lives they never could.

The very least we can do is make those lives worthy of their sacrifice.

They gave up their tomorrow so that this generation could have theirs.

Today, a nation remembers.

God bless Charlie Downes. We are fortunate to have such a man to fight for us.

On Armistice Day tomorrow, we remember those who answered the call and those who never came home.

To every veteran who served, and to the families who stood beside you: thank you. Your courage, discipline and sacrifice protected the country we love. That debt can never truly be er be forgotten or taken for granted.

Too often, the nation has asked everything of those who wear the uniform and then left them to struggle alone afterwards. @RestoreBritain will not do the same.

We will create a proper Department of Veterans Affairs — a Cabinet-level voice whose only job is to look after those who served. We will make sure no British veteran is left without a home. We will guarantee healthcare, dental care and specialist support when it is needed. We will help with the transition into civilian life, recognise the skills you already possess, and stand up for you and your families when the system fails you. We will also end the shameful practice of dragging veterans through malicious, repeated legacy legal actions for doing the job they were ordered to do.

These are not empty words. They are written by veterans, for veterans — and a Restore Britain government will put them into law.

Tomorrow we pause to remember. Tomorrow, and every day after, we will work to make sure that remembrance is matched by real respect and practical support.

God bless you all for your sacrifices. I will be a proud to watch my son tomorrow do his little part.

I don’t want the Government ‘looking after me’ and I have no confidence in their intention or ability to ‘help’ me.
Let’s face it since Chris Whitty took up his position as chief medical officer to the Government in 2019 we would all have been much better off doing the exact opposite to what he ‘advised’ us to do.

I look forward to visiting Kent again to help get Charlie into Parliament. We can win this seat, and many others in the county.

We've gone from British teenagers serving coffee in high street cafes to grown Indian men working those jobs - an almost total replacement in five years.

This is not a good development. It must be reversed.

Don’t fund indolent Somalians to have more children on universal credit in social housing, do fund the abolition of student interest for young British graduates.

That feels like a fair swap to me.

The level of interest that young British men and women are saddled with after university is outrageous - some of the figures that have been sent in recently are genuinely shocking. It's a scam.

Young people are starting their working lives burdened with enormous debts, watching interest pile up even as they make repayments. The number just grows and grows and grows.

A system designed by my generation that does nothing to serve hardworking, ambitious and talented British youngsters.

Restore Britain will abolish tuition fees altogether for courses and training of national importance, ensuring we produce the doctors, engineers, dentists scientists and properly skilled workers our country desperately needs.

And we will scrap ALL interest on student loans for British citizens living in Britain.

Importantly - to help fund it all, we will ban foreign nationals from accessing our student loan system.

The system should be helping young British men and women invest in their futures.

That helps all of us - but the system is so self-absorbed, outdated and short-sighted it cannot see that.

Education should not be a profit-making machine, placing that above all else.

It’s about investing in the country’s future, even if those of us making the decisions aren’t around to see it.

If you want the same decline, the same politicians, the same old shit - there are now three main options.

Tories, Labour, Reform. Take your pick.

If you want a party that is genuinely different? Actually radical? Willing to do what needs to be done?

There is now another way.
