The Close is out now.
I wrote this book for the version of me who lost deals he should have won. I had the talent and the work was good. I just didn’t know how to turn a conversation into a signed agreement.
Growing up, little books like The Brand Gap, Logos That Last and haped how I saw design. The Close is my attempt to give something back: a field manual for the business side we were never taught.

The team and I at MDX @md_xperience have been quietly building something for Africa's technical creatives.
A home with the support and infrastructure we've always needed: access, visibility, real utility, and a way to celebrate and spotlight our own people and community. Built waiting for permission.
When the MDX Network web app launches, it will feel native to how we actually work and create real value for African technical creatives, especially in times like these.
This is one of my favourite sections from the community site: the badges. Badges celebrate the person, not a single piece of work, and they're chosen by MDX curators. So I brought it to life, every hover, every click, built with @rive_app . Honestly, the execution came out flawless.
We'll need all the support we can get at launch: retweets, onboarding, recommendations, feedback. And if you're a partner or investor who believes in Africa's creative economy, my DMs are open.
I pray God rewards our good works.

This is a motion-design documentary on a riverside estate concept rooted in Wakirike (Okrika) heritage: nine clans, one covenant, water as infrastructure, culture as architecture.

ASTONISH MUST SHINE ✦ MADE TO MOVE
I was inspired by Emi Flores typographic figures, and I wanted to explore my own version and make it playable.
Every word on his body is a phrase that means something to me. They're my creed, the one I live by now:
Astonish must shine.
Made ng man will always find his luck.
So I built him in Rive as an interactive experiment. He walks, runs, boxes, dances, jumps and shines. Every move has its own music, and you can play him with a controller, a keyboard or a gamepad.
I'm proud of how this turned out. This is what storytelling and world-building are about: putting what you believe into something people can play with.
