Why did Polymarket never add this when their users were getting drained every week? Would've saved their users millions in stolen funds and themselves billions in reputational damage.

First things first.
Polymarket is making users sign a very broad non-disparagement agreement in order to get their money back from the hack.

It covers more than just the immediate incident.

I spent weeks telling you this and you ignored it. The next time l find a vulnerability, l will sell it to criminal gangs.

I think people are actually not sufficiently scared and angry enough about this. 'Only 2.75m stolen and 731 wallets affected, refunds and goodwill gestures.'

Better execution and this would've been 10x bigger. Excellent execution and it would've been 100x bigger and all user trust lost forever - the end of Polymarket as a company and platform.

Polymarket and it's users should thank their guardian angels today.

And we should proabably keep praying, right?

Or can we be certain this is only potentially disastrous vulnerability in a site we know was vibecoded by young and inexperienced software engineers?
Is your money safe on Polymarket? Probably not. Why did I stick around? Because I'm extremely good at it and I like making money. Was that smart? Probably not. I was so fucking lucky today.

It's insane that a billion dollar company can't keep it's most valuable users safe.

Hacked for the second time in 10 months on Polymarket, this time in a large scale hack. Luckily I caught it *just* in time and didn't get drained.

Lost over 10k in slippage as the scammers market sold my positions in illiquid markets.

Last time Polymarket didn't even bother to respond to my support tickets. Let's hope it goes better this time...

You can say what you want about Donald Trump but he's just got that thing with words man, it's so weird and I hate his politics, but if you're forced to listen to it it just works
Here’s another clip of a woman reading Trump’s words verbatim from a recent rally in Mississippi that puts a giant magnifying glass over how gone he is cognitively and unfit he is for office.

In a couple of years someone will publish a study proving my theory that prediction markets consistently undervalue candidates who aren't straight white men.
Volume in Michigan is less bullish on El-Sayed than the rest of the country.

Are Michiganders seeing something others aren't b/c they are local (with TV ads, campaign events, etc.)?

Or are non-Michiganders trading smarter b/c they are insulated from the local noise?

Wdyt?

I think this is good and more people should do it. Cultural conservatism is a death cult.

While pretending Prediction Markets are not gambling we forgot that they were supposed to be fun.

Rulecucking someone's homeowner's insurance sounds like a fun one-way ticket to hell.
Grok confirmed:

Traditional insurance often charges 60% (!) premium over pure expected losses to cover property damage.

Prediction markets could compress this to under 5%.

Huge opportunity in building a structured product around this.

If you work in insurance, send me a DM.
