Welp sorry to be annoying on the timeline, but I wanted to tell people who struggle with back pain how I solved mine. I didn’t want to publicly say this until I was 100% sure of it, but if you have a chronic pain thing of any kind read these books
Healing back pain by Sarno
and
The Nervous system reset
Struggled with horrible back pain for 7 years straight. Did physical therapy for a few years, lay hanging in torture devices to realign my spine over a year, acupuncture, lost weight, epidural shot. Nothing worked.
Simply reading the books did.
Some people are healed as soon as they read the books, for me it took about a year of practicing what the books preach.
Not fully there but I’m 80% better than I was. I still have flare ups but waaaaay less than I did before.
I went to 4 separate spine surgeons who were all ready to operate on me, but one of them thankfully convinced me to read that Sarno book first. He could tell from meeting me that I had all of the personality traits of a person who would suffer back pain. It’s actually pretty predictable. Perfectionists, people pleasers, repressed emotions, the book has way more. He said that he knew if he operated on me, I would still feel pain regardless, because most people who get back surgery don’t feel much better, or the pain will travel somewhere new.
Long story short, your brain creates pain to protect you. Repressing emotions consistently can also trick your brain into thinking they are a threat and it creates pain to distract you from them. Doctors telling you you are fucked makes you more scared therefore creates more pain. They will point out, bulging discs, stenosis, and abnormal growths on your spine, but for some reason, never mention that most people have these things and cause zero pain. There’s way more to it, but that’s the gist of it. Get that damn book, I regret not reading it at the start.
Unfortunately, I’ve realized that most back pain is kind of a word-of-mouth thing that infects people when you start worrying them about it. So probably by talking about it a lot it has probably made people worry about it therefore causing it lol sorry about that. Good news is you can undo it.
And if this all sounds schizo, I thought so too 🤷 your brain can do some crazy things. Same idea as phantom pain, you can feel things without your arm, even really being there.
Anyway teehee done talking about it hope everyone is doing well

After Shipwrecked, @OneyNG and I got a bit carried away and made a whole album.
The Court of Rhymes single is already out, and here’s our new music video for Mist in the Woods!
More videos to come. The @mirroneymusic album ‘Court of Rhymes’ is out November 6th!

I made an album with my chum Mirron as @mirroneymusic, it’s coming out November 6th.
Here’s a music video animated by Zoukeau, just in time for Halloween 🎃 enjoy! L

I sculpted Bowlbo & Bing Bing from polymer clay (mostly FIMO). Bowlbo's arms were one of the funnest bits to make. @OneyNG @OneyWareGames

Really great in depth article about Bowlbo at TooManyGames. ONLY thing I’ll say is I don’t think Jake meant to say the game will be out in 3 months. We’re putting the TMG demo on steam soon, that’s what he meant. Keep an eye out ! medium.com/vidya-gaem-awa…

Got to play Bowlbo today! I didn't get to finish the demo in time but I got very close! Really loved all the options for movement. The game looks and feels excellent! Not sure how, but I was awarded this shirt! Thank you! @OneyNG @OneyWareGames
I didn't get to play Bowlbo yet but I watched some friends play it. I got to talk to Oney and Tomar for a bit. Oney let me take this cool Bowlbo postcard thing. Game looks great, gonna try and play it tomorrow.
