We built one of India's most trusted full-stack AI clouds before we built a Twitter account. Priorities.

Turns out 'making sure your GPUs actually can keep up' doesn't leave much time for main character energy online. Hey, we're Neysa 👋

A 95% submission rate made the Kochi edition our strongest Startup Weekend yet on that metric, but the number we’ll remember isn’t just 77.

It’s what those 77 builds represented.

We'll remember first-time builders taking ideas seriously and students building through 20 hours er agentic builds, voice-first and WhatsApp-first products, native language (Malayalam) focus, and deeply local problems meeting global ambition.

We'll also remember that 86% of teams built from scratch and 75% said they’re now likely to start up.

That’s the kind of momentum we came to Kochi hoping to create. But none of it happens without an ecosystem willing to show up around builders.

So here's a HUGE shoutout to our people. 🙏

Our deepest thanks to every jury member, mentor, speaker, partner, volunteer, and builder who gave their time, judgment, experience, energy, and belief to the room.

Financial services is where India’s AI ambitions meet their hardest constraints: regulation, data residency, auditability, and zero tolerance for downtime. What actually reaches production depends on how well teams solve for all four.

AIM, in partnership with @Neysa_ai is n of the AIM Innovator Series to bring together the people building AI inside India’s banks, payment networks, and wealth tech. The session will examine what is actually moving to production across fraud detection, document AI and KYC, credit and risk scoring, and AI-led wealth management.

The conversation will cover why sovereignty is now a board-level question in BFSI, how teams keep models governed and auditable, and what separates a pilot that ships from one that stalls in compliance review.

Session Details:
Date: 29 October 2026
Time: 5.00 pm IST
Format: Zoom

Featured Speakers:

Sujit Janardanan, Chief Marketing Officer, Neysa, with over two decades of experience across Google Cloud India, AWS, and Cropin Technology

Ritesh Dhoot, EVP Engineering, Neysa, with over two decades of experience scaling engineering teams at Cisco, BYJU’S, and Orange Health Labs

Register now and join the conversation on how AI is rewriting India’s financial services stack: us06web.zoom.us/webinar/regist…

Spot GPU instances can carry 15-20% interruption rates, with 30 seconds' notice before reclaim. Cheap compute has commitment issues.

#Kochi we are excited to see your builds, see you in a week ✨
Built around helping teams move AI from prototype to production with the compute, platform, and operational control they need, @Neysa_ai shares a belief that sits very close to what AIBoomi Startup Weekend is trying to enable: give builders fewer reasons to stop, and more reasons the inaugural edition, they’ve consistently shown up for builders with the same conviction: back people early, give them access to the right infrastructure, and help ambitious ideas travel further.

Which is why we’re thrilled to have Neysa continue that journey with us at AIBoomi Startup Weekend | Kochi.

For a room full of AI-first builders spending 20 hours turning ideas into working MVPs, having Community Partner that thinks deeply about what happens after the prototype feels like a natural fit.

So if you’re still at that first messy version, still experimenting, still trying to see if the idea has legs, this is your jam.

A big 💚 to Neysa for backing builders from day one.

. @ind_DPDP's full enforcement has 'no grace period,' per India's IT Secretary. Somewhere, a compliance team is drafting a grace period request anyway.

40x. That's how much India's GPU capacity is set to grow in four years 👀

@sharad_sanghi (Founder & CEO, @Neysa_ai) breaks down how Indian companies are actually using AI right now; from drug discovery to manufacturing defect detection to research at IITs and ISc.

$126B in AI data centre investment commitments in India, per a July 2026 KPMG report. Nobody sent the power grid a heads up. Watts don't care how big the funding round was. Who's checking the grid math before the next one gets signed?

Did you know: Cast AI's 2026 'State of Kubernetes Optimization' Report, stated drawn from measured production telemetry across roughly 23k clusters across general-purpose clouds found average enterprise GPU utilization sits at just 5%? i.e. 95% of provisioned capacity is idle.

India's voice AI market is set to grow ~6x by 2030 - from $153M to $958M (NextMSC, 2026). A kind of jump usually breaks on the compute side long before the AI does. Agreed?

₹/GPU-hour doesn't predict $/token.
Decode is memory-bandwidth bound, KV cache and batching decide real cost, not GPU count on paper. That's why we price inference against the resources reserved for an AI workload, not a shared rate you can't audit.
Should this be the norm? 🤔

Every AI team in 🇮🇳 is fighting the same ten fires.
We just listed them so you don't have to explain yours from scratch.

Thread.

The model came from HuggingFace. The plugin came from npm. The vector database came from a 12-person startup you've never heard of.

One compromised link anywhere in that chain poisons the whole deployment. Most teams have audited none of it. (10/10)

That's the list. If you nodded along on three or more, that's not bad luck. That's what building AI in India looks like right now.

We started this account because these are exactly the problems we're built to solve. More on that soon.
