It's really great to see tourism up, but this shows why I scrapped my BRP plans when my planned Fridays earlier both didn't work out. 😅

Some are disagreeing with my Cherohala Skyway suggestion, but I took it one early Nov (so past peak pics here) and really liked it and the views. Small detour off in on the TN side gets you to a pretty waterfall, Bald River Falls. If you are on the NC side, beautiful areas around ater, for late season like that.
Chimney Rock/Lake Lure another good later leaf season pick, and they could really use the tourism revenue there. 64 from Franklin right now would be a pretty drive - romanticasheville.com/highway64.htm
