The inception meeting for the 3-year consortium project “Strengthening Educational Inclusion for Girls and Women with Visual Impairment in and out of school” is underway.

The project will be implemented by @NUDIPU , in partnership with Uganda Society of the Disabled Children om Christian Blind Mission (CBM), across Nebbi, Masindi, Masaka & Jinja.

We will reach 10 schools and 500 learners, including 350 girls (70%) and 150 boys (30%) with visual impairment.

Together, we aim to challenge disability stigma, empower women and girls with disabilities to participate fully in their communities, and amplify their voices in decision-making at district and national levels.
