Okayy, this really cool horror plot popped in my head and been working on it since yesterday night. No inspiration by anything so far, just came out of nowhere 😳
Let’s see where does it take me.
Huge potential for a new game!

My favorite engine going dark side...
Huh, they're also removing the option to use C++ for gameplay.

Feeling a bit stressed and exhausted with all the Steam stuff going on (as well as overwork this period).
I’ll just get this game and enjoy it a bit.
Queen’s Domain has over 1k reviews at “Overwhelmingly Positive” in the first weekend and we can’t believe it 🥹

We are just a 2 person dev team so all the feedback means so so much to us 🖤

Unfortunately, I wish I could say this:
Too Hot To Hold - our party game launches tomorrow, but we’ve been waiting for approval since October 18.

I have no idea what will happen or what the future holds…
We were assured by Steam that missing our launch - as a result of the tidal wave of AI-slop that destroyed their review queue - would not affect the usual mechanisms of launch visibility

I beg to differ...

11,000+ wishlists and this is what our launch turned into

“You’ll be forced to play via data center and nothing will be possible on a personal computer”.

NVIDIA has no idea how many times can I replay the same old games I have from the 2000s and up until now and not get bored - starting with Morrowind.
Nvidia has quietly removed the RTX 5080 from its online store, following the RTX 5090. And GPU prices are getting crazy.

The RTX 5080 launched at $999, but prices have now reached $2,199.99 in the US

Rumors suggest Nvidia may be shifting production towards more profitable AI There’s also rumours of a new RTX 5080 with 24GB of VRAM

I read it somewhere:
making games without AI is a waste of time.
7 games and 15 years later…
still wasting it and love every step of it.

It’s 5 AM and I’m torn on the next horror game. 😈
More psychological horror, survival, or something weirder? Honest thoughts?

We made a retro survival horror game about smth a little too familiar to us as indie devs, WORKAHOLISM.

Game: Saint of Chains.
Retro survival horror about a workaholic father trying to save his wife & kid from a demonic cult.

Devved by a 2 brothers team.

1. I read there are AIs that can clone on a BINARY level, which means even complex AAA games won’t be safe.
2. This Next Fest showed me that even good games couldn’t be found due to the large number of AI slop (one person published even 5 prompted demos)

Replying to @MystiveDev
Unless something’s done I don’t see a bright future about indie games.
As far as I can see now, it’s not who has a good game will stand out.
It’s more like who has the MOST MONEY to pay streamers, ads, jester gg, various marketing campaigns will maybe be seen in the slop.
