@stuckfundseth just got a lot bigger.
We added new sources of forgotten funds: queued staking withdrawals that were never claimed, unstaked funds never collected, and balances left behind in old contracts.
→ $359M waiting to be claimed
→ 693k wallets
→ 100+ sources scanned
Check any wallet: stuckfunds.eth.limo
Read-only, no wallet connection.
Stuckfunds has helped crypto natives recover over 30M USD, let's not stop here!

A) We don't beg.
B) We've helped legitimate owners recover over 9 figures from stuck bridges and contracts, and they did it themselves. That includes the @FTX_Official estate ($17M so far, with more on the way), which is a net benefit for the whole crypto space.
C) We run a tip-based service. Nobody has to pay anything, and the tips we've received come to about 0.03% of the funds recovered.
D) I would never take money from stolen funds.
As to why this happened: we scan a lot of databases and public sources (this costs me money, btw) and run an identification pipeline to find people with stuck funds and reach out to them however we can. I have personally reached out to hundreds of people via X, Telegram, email, contact forms, smoke signals and messenger pigeons. Many of those people have claimed and not tipped shit, by the way.
But i keep going because it feels good to do good.
That pipeline also excludes sanctioned addresses and bad actors, and every step has an auditable trail and code. Not that anyone will ever look at it, but it lets me keep a clean conscience. When you label close to a million wallets, you're going to have a few slips. This was one of them: the wallet carries a DPRK label on Etherscan and our screening missed it. That's on me, and it's fixed.
Details on this wallet: I didn't touch or claim anything. We sent notes, that's it. Notes don't move a single wei. The funds sat stuck in the bridge until someone else pushed them out.
That being said it is indeed unfortunate that some labeled wallets recieved a note.
E) And who pushed them out? The so-called "claim services". They do exactly what we do, with one difference: they put their hands on people's money. They take the same stuck-withdrawal intelligence our project surfaces, front-run the owners, push the withdrawals through themselves, then show up in your wallet asking for a cut. No consent, no screening, no questions asked. They may also have done this for compromised wallets, bad actors, etc., as can be seen with this hacker and BNB Bridge hacker, just to name a few.
On this exact wallet, a claim bot (0xf235ea849cb1759e8e96ea15bfb8125dfd41c20e) proved the 145.67 ETH Base withdrawal on Oct 19 (tx 0xff50a96a149a4baeebbdc7c038d2525652f069137a4ab6c69f1c903ebfe046ff). Another claim service (0x32e39b81fbb2afd6a271a52c28455609557efc3b) finalized it on Oct 20 in a multicall batch (tx 0x9b9f79af12e59251a1c8a49b4efe415c29a4edc5dd3b95839d10dd8a2ff49585). The owner hasn't sent a single transaction since Feb 2024. So the people who actually unlocked 145 ETH for a DPRK-labeled wallet are those bots, not us. It's all on-chain. Go check it.
We deliberately never did that, because I refuse to touch people's money. That line has "cost" me well over $100k in tips, and I'd make the same call again.
I have paused all our on-chain notes for now as i don't wanna deal with that shit and then getting dragged through the mud for attention baiting. It is unfortunate thought as the notes are still +EV: we can trace over $20M in claims to them alone, not counting FTX.
I deliberately keep this project as pure and honest as possible and stick to hard rules. No wallet connection, no proxy claim contract, no monetization, so it stays free, accessible and safe.
So yeah, tl;dr: shit happens. But the good this project has done far outweighs a slip-up like this, and twisting one missed label into "stuckfunds begs DPRK" while ignoring who actually moved the money is just bad faith, but congratulations on the 25k impressions on your tweet.

tfw you help the literal DPRK find more of their stolen funds and then beg them to give you 10% 🫠

$28.6M, about 16% of the forgotten bridge funds we track, has been claimed since stuckfunds launched.
Over 5,500 claims so far, and I'm really happy a lot of people got back smaller amounts too: over 4,300 wallets claimed under $1k.
Got something stuck?

I knew this would happen. But the guy with a few hundred bucks forgotten in a bridge deserves to know too, so the site stays up and checking your own wallet stays free: stuckfunds.eth.limo
