also can we talk about how because of Patience the Fugitive Doctor canonically has a wife? like an actual wife on Gallifrey?
patience is such a fascinating character who's just never talked about. a time lady from the dawn of time? the doctor's wife from the pre-hartnell times? the doctor's one and only patient but also his tutor and the mother of his children? such an insane character. love her dearly

Remembering Ian Marter who played my favourite Doctor Who male companion Harry Sullivan born on this day in 1944 and also sadly died this day in 1986. 💐 💜

he literally just said this which could mean it’s a niche character cuz that’s a very James Gunn thing to do, not that it’s not from the comics
Matthew Lillard teases that his character in ‘MAN OF TOMORROW’ is not from the comics:
"It's a very James Gunn moment."

GIVE HER A JOB DISNEY
Hannah Waddingham desperately wants to be in a STAR WARS movie or show, maybe as Grogu’s mom.
“I need to be in any Star Wars. Anything with a lightsaber, without a lightsaber, with a double-ended lightsaber, with a mask, without a mask, wiping the screen, sweeping up. Playing with a big long nose or like one eye falling off or anything, Jon Favreau. What about Grogu’s mom? I am obsessed with Star Wars.”

the thing is i do really like RTDs writing most of the time. if you ignore the finales then the Fifteenth Doctor's era is amazing, and when he's writing what he knows it comes out beautiful. the problem is there's a lot of times where he oversteps and thats what taints the rest
