Building Theo (YC F26) as a solo founder taught me one lesson above all: be willing to do everything.

No one else will make sure it gets done, so even the tasks you don’t love are yours. The upside? You learn how every part of the company works.

Solo founders, what’s helped you?

Learning SEO for his own company gave @MilesPines a repeatable playbook.

Then his friends started asking him to do the same for their businesses. Every week.

That’s what led him to build @theo_site: a way to keep researching, publishing and updating small-business websites without having to manage every step manually.

The company reports more than 10,000 sites built.

Because getting a website live is one thing. Keeping it updated and helping people find it is the work that continues long after launch.
