Learning the fundamentals of DevOps principles and processes may seem daunting or feel like a huge mountain to climb. I personally don’t think it should or needs to be that way. github.com/MichaelCade/90… the community interactions around this repo is mind blowing! #90DaysOfDevOps

Lisbon next week for our #v100 Summit, we get to not only share the cool things we are working on but it is also a great time to hear stories from the field!
A new location as well for the summit, excited as never been to Lisbon!

I’m not a web dev and I knew what PHP was before yesterday. I also dabble in the security space…. 😂

In a year’s time we will be in the middle of the rugby World Cup down in Australia.
That might be a good excuse for a family trip.

I bricked my home lab Red Hat OpenShift cluster yesterday... this is where you learn some things trying to squeeze stuff like this onto Mini PCs...

Sometimes a lot of us are reaching into new technologies, platforms etc but the majority of the world are still using PHP...

I just did a session on Red Hat OpenShift, both containers and VMs with a focus on protecting Microsoft SQL, MySQL and Oracle in a consistent way. Storage layer is NetApp, so trident CSI layer.
Kasten is pretty good at getting this done.
Also snapshots aren’t backups still!

Massive attack via @opencode where everything from adding an API key to authenticate to your LLM or even adding a provider can result in your keys being stolen.
If you're going through a gateway, like @agentgateway, however, your keys are protected on the backend.
You aren't going straight to the provider via your API key or connected provider in opencode.
Instead, you're going through a gateway/proxy that you can lock down, secure, govern, and observe for things like this.
Egress is critical, and having your line of communication (an AI Gateway) sit between your Agent and the destination (e.g., an LLM provider) helps significantly with attacks like this.

Yesterday we announced the first stages (private preview) of lots of protection of new workloads. The ones I am invested and involved in is around GitHub and Azure DevOps.
I’m working to make sure these fill a huge gap I believe in DevOps tooling and resilience.

Dragging myself to move just a little bit these days. Trying to find that motivation I had say last year.
Last year I did 100 runs, so far this year I am at 23!

Saturday morning, I have been using Antigravity to bolster some of the Wow_Stats app I put together.
Just a little tool to keep track of things via the Blizzard API, Golang backend, Postgres for some historic capture and trends.

Added some mythic+ tracking, achievement tracking.
My next thing is to work out a planner, there are so many things to do so how can we make an efficient plan of things to do whilst keeping it fun.
