I think a lot of people who historically found VeVe / OMI decided it wasn’t for them because the token wasn’t truly aligned with the collectibles and web3 fundamentals like self-custody weren’t present.

The project also didn’t focus on hype or pumpamentals, so in the fast paced space we are in people didn’t always have the patience or conviction to see it through once the NFT narrative rotated.

I joined the company in 2023 because I saw that unlike the majority of projects, they were committed to building for the long term and were going to succeed regardless of how long or slow it took.

Fast forward to now, the token is building all of its utilities and features on base, and at the beginning of October launched the unlimited program which has seen over 850 participants and almost 6m USD locked to date.

It aligns the success of VeVe with the OMI token and will see exclusive collectibles and 6 figures of rewards distributed per season.

VeVe has also partnered with @CollectChain which is purpose built to enable blockchain level royalty enforcement so that the worlds biggest brands and IP can feel safe being on chain, and most importantly it brings self custody for users along with it.

I have a feeling more and more people are going to learn about the project as interest returns to NFTs, and in hindsight it will have been obvious that VeVe / OMI were going to be absolute behemoths in the space.
