This idiot moved to Russia because - Russia good, killing Ukrainians good, NATO bad.

Quickly got into legal trouble in Russia.

Now forcefully sent to the front, whereabouts unknown, his family is devastated.

He’s old and sick, but nobody cares.

Stupid games. Stupid prizes.

There is no ‘both sides’ in the fight between Russia and Ukraine. Russia is a ruthless authoritarian state that has invaded a democratic country. The war could end immediately if Russia simply left Ukrainian territory.

To say otherwise is to ignore the truth and is to do the ly or unwittingly, of Putin’s dictatorship.

Sweden’s Foreign Minister posed some hard questions to Europe today. Questions that will define how history judges us when it looks back on how we responded to a war on our own continent.

Did we keep buying the oil and gas funding the drones and missiles killing families?

Did we put Russia’s frozen assets to work for Ukraine, making Russia pay for the destruction it has caused?

Did we provide Ukraine with all the military support we possibly could, the support it needs and deserves to defend itself and keep Europe safe?

Europe has failed to do what this moment demands of us. And unless we change course now, that failure will haunt us for generations to come.

Awaited trial in solitary confinement: Director of a Kharkiv language school dies in Crimea

After being detained in Sevastopol, the co-founder and director of educational programs at the Kharkiv language school "Professional," Alexandra Kazarovitskaya (Kolesnikova), died in he woman was held in solitary confinement for three months, and then her alleged suicide was reported.

Alexandra lived in Kharkiv for almost her entire adult life. She was a co-founder of the school, director of educational programs, teacher, and mentor.

According to colleagues, the woman went to Sevastopol in the summer to help her parents sell an apartment and move to Turkey. She planned to stay in Crimea for no more than a month and was supposed to return to Kharkiv in September.

However, Alexandra was detained. The reason was her correspondence with a volunteer, which she had been conducting since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. After her detention, the woman was held in solitary confinement for three months, where she awaited trial.

Later, her family was informed about her "suicide."

The woman is survived by her husband and daughter.

Westerners seem to have forgotten that at the start of the full-scale invasion, fascist Russian troops entered Sumy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv oblasts.

Why invade half of Ukraine if all you wanted was the Donbas?
When Putin seized Crimea, both Europe and America were quite openly making calls, holding meetings, and sending signals to the Ukrainians who were in power at the time that there should be no escalation – let's just keep things friendly and leave things as they are for now. And we lost Crimea. After that, we lost part of Donbas. But the shooting in the east continued. There was no peace.

People think we were always helped. That is not true. Help started coming after the full-scale invasion, but that was after eight years of Russia occupying our territory. That is a long time to figure things out and understand that Putin has no intention of giving anything back to us.

At one point, some Europeans asked me: “Why do you think that if you withdraw from Donbas, he will go further?” And I answered: “Because at the beginning of the war, he wasn't seizing Donbas. He came to the capital. He seized parts of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, Kherson itself, and Kharkiv region.” We have retaken a lot of territory, but he had seized different parts of our country. And now they want us to give them something because they are unable to seize it. We may have a smaller territory, less money, and fewer weapons, but we still have more dignity than many others. We will do everything we can to end this war, but it must end in a way that preserves our dignity.

Kidnapping children is a war crime. Forcing them to fight their own people is another. russia does both.
Zelensky: “The Russians have taken thousands of Ukrainian children from our land, and now we see something even worse.”

According to the Ukrainian president, Russia has already started sending some of these children into the Russian army. These are children who were taken from up over the years of this war.

“This is horrible. And it must stop.”

It’s no coincidence that Finland is one of Ukraine’s strongest supporters. Moscow invaded Finland in 1939 following its pact with Hitler. Before that, when we were part of the Russian Empire, Moscow sought to Russify Finland, just as it is now trying to erase Ukrainian identity.

Finland and Ukraine may be far apart geographically, but not in experience. Although Ukraine has endured *far* more, both historically and today.

Russia gave him a choice — betray Ukraine or die in prison.

Volodymyr Mykolayenko, the former mayor of Kherson, refused to serve the occupiers and spent more than three years in russian captivity, where he was beaten with batons and fists and tortured with electric shocks from en russia invaded in 2022, Mykolayenko joined the territorial defense forces. A few weeks later, he was abducted, stuffed into a car trunk, and transferred through prisons in Crimea, as well as in the Voronezh and Vladimir regions. The torture did not stop for a single day.

For every word spoken in Ukrainian, he was beaten. Prisoners were fed potato peels, watery soup, and a single piece of bread per day. For vitamins, they gathered nettles growing by the fence. In the morning, the guards played Orthodox sermons on the radio; in the evening, they tortured the prisoners.

Russian officers offered him money, safety, and any position he wanted in the occupation administration. He refused. They lined him up against a wall and staged a mock execution.

“I told them I have two grandsons — they will continue my life,” he recalls.

In 2022, Mykolayenko refused early release so that a gravely ill young prisoner could take his place. Later, he accidentally overheard from an investigator that Kherson had been liberated. “That was the day I truly felt free,” he says.

On August 24, 2025 — Ukraine’s Independence Day — he was freed during a prisoner exchange. He returned exhausted but unbroken. His mother’s home was destroyed, and his own apartment damaged.

“I will return to Kherson — to rebuild it and to defend it again, if necessary.”
