A look at my original launch day copy of Ocarina of Time for the N64. Can't describe the level of hype leading up to the release of this one.

Zelda Ocarina of Time launches tomorrow which means more Zelda 40th Anniversary stock will be made available
nothing currently available but I'm watching for restocks
- AMAZON -
No word yet on restocks
Controller - amzn.to/4idMQxV
Console - amzn.to/4iv2K5R #ad
a ton of orders, gave people $519 gift cards as an apology. I think these were cancelled because they got street dated for Nov 5 and stores couldn't actually deliver them because of that. Check your local store.
Controller - bit.ly/4yLXu3C
Console - bit.ly/3UvDS5Z
- BEST BUY -
Will have "limited quantities" of Zelda 40th hardware for the November 5 midnight launch for Ocarina of Time tonight at 9am PT. Stock should be decent, 30-100 consoles and 10-50 controllers per store: bit.ly/4dPDpSD
- TARGET -
In-store starting Nov 5 and online Nov 6: bit.ly/4ilctvh
- NINTENDO -
I expect Nintendo will continue to restock these as they become available, but no ETA on that yet
Controller - bit.ly/4dHsQRA
Console - bit.ly/4d44qRO
- GAMESTOP -
Most stock numbers I was shown were ~4 consoles per store if the store was getting any at all. Many got no consoles and no controllers. Call or visit your local store.

In a beta version of Ocarina of Time, the Master Craftsman's son was meant to run a shop in Kakariko Village selling "kawaii hiyoko", meaning "cute chicks". These little Cuccos are still present in the final game's files.
They're round and blue, and very cute indeed!
