Two of my favorite games of all time are lost in the IP ether. Fortunately they exist on the high seas but what I'd give for an official GoG release 🥹

"Although there are other variants of the RTX 5090 chip, it has certainly not been discontinued."
I read this as:
'GB202-based add-in-cards are not discontinued; however, the "GeForce RTX 5090 32GB" is'

NVIDIA says RTX 5090 is not discontinued, but good luck finding one for $1,999

Apparently, Microcenter has stopped selling them too. Since there's no official EoL either:
A. nVidia is 'silently' recalling them due to literal daily reports of the connector melting down.
and/or
B. US regulators are 'unhappy' with nV over the RTX 5090 being illicitly exported.

Well, that’s a wrap on the 5090s… not carried

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
Not quite, but Outlaws (1997) by LucasArts was a crapload of fun. I always found the soundtrack and in-game music to be absolutely brilliant.
It was composed by Clint Bajakian (a LucasArts veteran who also worked on Monkey Island 2) and a nio Morricone’s western style: whistling, acoustic and electric guitar, choir, and harmonica. Check out the beautiful segment starting at the 58 second mark!
Sadly, it wasn't a big hit and the engine already looked dated next to Quake. It was a PC/Mac-only LucasArts shooter that was not Star Wars, and the FPS audience in 1997 was moving toward true 3D.
I still loved it for having its own charm, despite looking a bit dated.

TIL 'Stagecraft' has their own special snowflake power plugs/receptacles.
@blockarchitech @McMasterDaily Not got many opinions on which NEMA is worst, but, I am currently cursing at having just caught myself out on the 3 different types of Neutrik power connector...

There is but, it'd take a literal Act of God for them to ever sell anything they make to the consumer market.
